Day 2 Hotel/Station Pickup → Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum → Meiling Palace → Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum → Music Stage
·morning
In the morning, the tour leader will pick you up at your location and then officially start your Jinling journey.
First, we will purchase a combined ticket for you at Zhongshan Scenic Area, a must-see attraction in Nanjing (including the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, the Music Stage, the Meiling Palace, and the Linggu Temple).
After today's trip, you can freely enter the Linggu Temple Scenic Area with your ticket (a popular place for viewing fireflies in summer and osmanthus flowers in autumn).
First, we entered the World Cultural Heritage [Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum]. The tour leader led everyone to enter from the Sifang City, step onto the Stone Elephant Road on the cover of the history book, listen to the secrets and interesting stories of Zhu Yuanzhang, cross Plum Blossom Mountain, and go to the Xiaoling Mausoleum to discover the 600-year history of the Ming Dynasty.
We spent 2 hours exploring the area, leaving enough time to appreciate the beauty of the four seasons of Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum (cherry blossoms in spring, green forests in summer, ginkgo trees in autumn, and plum blossoms in winter).
Then cross Wutong Avenue and go to Meiling Palace, immerse yourself in the romance of Chiang Kai-shek and Soong Ching-kuo, and look for the dazzling gem in the internet-famous Wutong necklace.
·afternoon
At lunch time, the team leader will arrange for the group to have a free meal near the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum.
After lunch, we came to the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, a masterpiece in the history of modern Chinese architecture. Looking down from the air, it looks like a "Liberty Bell" lying flat on a green velvet carpet, which means "a wooden bell to warn the world".
Towards the end of the trip, we came to the [Music Stand], where we gave away free pigeon food. During the break, we could have close contact with flocks of white pigeons. The pigeons here are not afraid of people.
At the end of today's trip, you can choose to have your tour leader take you to Linggu Temple (tickets available) or back to your hotel, where you can choose dinner at your own convenience.
