Day 1 Check in to the designated hotel in Nanjing

Today is the gathering day. Please go to the hotel by yourself and register the "China-Travel Note" to check in (check-in after 14:00, and you can move freely afterwards).
Note: The hotels we arrange are all located in the city, with convenient transportation and within walking distance to tourist attractions.
Recommended free activities:
1. Rediscover the world of "Dream of the Red Chamber" at the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom History Museum (Zhanyuan), one of the four famous gardens in Jiangnan.
2. Visit Jiuhua Mountain, where part of the skull of Master Xuanzang, the prototype of the protagonist of Journey to the West, is enshrined, and walk along a section of the Nanjing City Wall.
There are also Baoen Temple, Niu Shou Mountain, Zijin Mountain, etc., where tigers and dragons are waiting for you.

Day 2 Hotel → Jiangning Weaving Museum → Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum → Dismissal at Muxuyuan Subway Station

After breakfast at the hotel today, we will start our journey to read famous books.
Around 8 o'clock, we took a taxi to the Jiangning Weaving Museum . The design theme was "White Prime Minister Meets Jiangnan", and the style was inspired by the poem "Three mountains and half of the green hills are outside, and Egret Island is divided by two waters."
It involves the history of the Jiangning Weaving House itself, the history of brocade production in the weaving bureau under the weaving house, and the historical masterpiece "Dream of Red Mansions" which is closely related to the weaving house, as well as the rise and fall of its author Cao Xueqin and the Cao family.

After a good rest, take a taxi through Wutong Avenue to Nanjing World Cultural Heritage [Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum], check in the popular 600-meter Stone Elephant Road, climb to the top of the Xiaoling Mausoleum to overlook Purple Mountain, explore the rarely disturbed Yanque Lake, and listen to "Zhaoming Wenxuan" and the story of Xiao Tong.
We will disperse today near Muxuyuan subway station. Recommended dining places: Xinjiekou, Daxinggong, etc.
Day 3 Hotel → Presidential Palace → Confucius Temple → Old Mendong Disband

After breakfast at the hotel today, we will start our journey to read famous books.
Around 8:30 AM, take a taxi or walk to the Museum of Modern Chinese History (Presidential Palace), where you can learn about the century-long modern history that led to the birth of famous works such as "Capital Plan," "Scientific Nanjing," and "Illustrated Records of Jinling Historic Sites."

After a rest, take a taxi to Gutaoye Ferry and start the Confucius Temple, the world's literary center, the imperial examination literature trail:

In the evening, when you come to Laomendong for shopping and dining, you can enjoy the night view of Jinling, find the Mustard Seed Garden, and experience the leisure and elegance described in Li Yu's "Random Thoughts". You can also check in at the Laomendong branch of Pioneer Bookstore and send a commemorative postcard.
Today's trip ends here, free and easy.
During holidays, when there are a lot of people, traffic will be restricted in the east section of the Confucius Temple Old Gate, and passengers can only get on and off at designated taxi pick-up points. Please be aware of this when signing up!
Day 4 Hotel → Yuejiang Tower → Xuanwu Lake → Transfer to the station

After breakfast at the hotel today, we will start our journey to read famous books.
Around 8:30 AM, we took a taxi to Yuejiang Tower to admire the architectural recreation of "Yuejiang Tower Record," a model essay from Guwenguanzhi. We climbed to the top to overlook the Yangtze River and observe the dividing line between the two rivers.

Enter Xuanwu Lake from Jiefang Gate or Xuanwu Gate in Taicheng and journey through Wuzhouli. From the nostalgic poems of successive generations of literati to Zhang Ailing's "Half a Lifelong Romance," the mountains, rivers, and plants here bear witness to the cultural heritage of Jinling.
Today we provide transportation to Nanjing Station and Nanjing South Station, but not to the airport. We recommend purchasing tickets after 17:00, so please leave enough time for ticket checking.
