After arriving, all tourists will check in at the designated hotel. After resting, you will have free time. Please pay attention to safety during this period!
After arriving in Guiyang, if you have time, you can visit Qianling Mountain Park on your own and take a photo with the internet celebrity "Xiao Lao Fei." You can also ascend Dongshan Temple for a breathtaking night view of Guiyang. Enjoy the "Nan Guo Sheng Jing" (Southern Guo Scenic Spot), the magnificent night view of Jiaxiu Tower, one of China's ten most famous towers. Then, walk along Fuyu Bridge to visit Gongnan Pavilion, Cuiwei Pavilion, and other attractions.
Food recommendations
Qingyun Market: A place where snacks from all over Guizhou gather. Here you can enjoy a variety of snacks and there are exciting activities held from time to time;
Old Town Food Street: Weiqing Road, Wenchang Pavilion, Caijia Street on Minsheng Road, Wenchang North Road, and Shengfu Road are popular with locals for their authentic cuisine.
Day 2 Guiyang → Langde Shangzhai → Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village

After breakfast, we will go to the small Miao village [Langde Miao Village] in Kaili area. It does not have the grandeur of Xijiang, but it has the original natural features.
Tourists will have an in-depth experience of the original ecological Miao culture, the twelve-door wine ceremony, the original ecological Miao song and dance performances, and the Miao glutinous rice cake making activities.
Lunch will include a complimentary Langde Miao long-table banquet featuring mountain streams. Enthusiastic Miao women will sing a toasting song and offer us wine, offering sincere blessings. Experience the Miao etiquette of hospitality! (Note: The Twelve Door-Blocking Wine Ceremony and the Miao traditional song and dance performances are subject to the scenic area's schedule and may be temporarily closed. Please understand!)

Afterwards, we'll head to Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village for a beautiful respite. With the Miao New Year approaching, the atmosphere is already heating up. Let's don Miao attire and immerse ourselves in the festive atmosphere before the Miao New Year.
Led by our guide, we'll experience the Xijiang City Walk, starting at the Miao Museum, China's largest museum of Miao culture. We'll explore the Miao people's rich cultural heritage, encompassing clothing, food, housing, transportation, festivals, marriage, and art. We'll also hear farmer-painter Li Yufu's interpretation of "ethnic + international," savor "biang dang" rice wine, a specialty of Miao people, at a mountainside winery. We'll also enjoy a refreshing break at a popular coffee shop, and take photos with Miao costumes by the Wind and Rain Bridge, allowing you to experience the charm of a true Miao person.
After dinner, check in to Xijiang Inn.
Day 3 Xijiang Thousand Household Miao Village → Leishan Thousand People Parade → Jiangkou

Those who like to get up early can watch the spectacular dawn of Qianhu Miao Village, and experience the stilt houses, morning smoke, farm life, and the beautiful scenery of terraced fields.
This year we will participate in the 2024 China Leishan Miao New Year and Drum Tibetan Festival Ten Thousand People "Intangible Cultural Heritage" Parade
We gathered at the appropriate time in the morning and set off for Leishan County. The Miao ethnic group parade will gather at noon and the parade time is 13:00-15:00 (parade route: County No. 1 Middle School → Dashizi → Cultural and Sports Center). We sang and danced with local Miao friends to celebrate the Miao New Year together.
We left Leishan County in the afternoon and went to Jiangkou County to check into the hotel and rest.
Day 4 Jiangkou → Fanjing Mountain → Zhenyuan Ancient Town

After breakfast, depart for [Fanjing Mountain Scenic Area]
Fanjing Mountain stands out as a unique gem in Guizhou, a region rich in karst landforms. Its unique metamorphic rocks, unlike the more common limestone found in Guizhou, are so hard that the springs flowing from the mountain are clearer and offer a unique landscape. Take a shuttle bus to the cable car entrance and ascend. After the cable car, climb the steps for 30 minutes to the Mushroom Rock. You can also continue your ascent to Old Golden Summit and Red Cloud Golden Summit. Due to Fanjing Mountain's unique geographical location, with luck, you may even be able to see vast seas of clouds. It is said that those with a strong connection to Buddhism can even see the Buddha's halo at the top of the mountain.
We've specially arranged a blessing event at Fanjing Mountain during the Miao New Year celebrations. Prayer spots throughout the Fanjing Mountain area have draped the vast expanse of Fanjing Mountain in a solemn and magical atmosphere. Wishes made in the Brahma Pure Land, the Sky City, should soon be fulfilled!
Tips: During peak season, you will need to queue up for ticket checking, bus and cable car rides, so please be patient!

After descending the mountain, we'll head to Zhenyuan Ancient Town, known as the Venice of the East. Zhenyuan, known for its Tai Chi charm, is sure to impress. The Wuyang River, the mother river, flows through the city in an S-shaped pattern, forming a Bagua diagram, earning it the nickname Bagua Ancient Town. Composed of three connected streets, the streets are lined with inns, restaurants, and shops, offering a dazzling array of local delicacies.

Day 5 Zhenyuan Ancient Town → Disband in Guiyang

Tourists can sleep in and enjoy the slow pace of life in Zhenyuan Ancient City.
This place has completely different characteristics from the Miao and Dong villages. The ancient city is surrounded by high walls, small boats are cruising in the river, and the brick houses are heavy and solid. It can provide you with all kinds of modern conveniences that other villages cannot provide, as if this ancient city is embracing you warmly.
We will leave Zhenyuan and head to Guiyang by bus at the right time, and take you to the airport/high-speed rail station, ending our pleasant journey and looking forward to our next meeting.
Disband at Guiyang Longdongbao Airport and Guiyang North Railway Station. Arrive at Guiyang Longdongbao Airport at approximately 2:00 PM and Guiyang North Railway Station at 2:30 PM. Return flights are recommended after 4:00 PM, and return train tickets are recommended after 4:00 PM.
