After lunch at a local farmhouse restaurant, we'll head to Gaoyiling and hike along the ridge. The red mountain has distinct textures, stretching vertically and horizontally across the cliff face. The scattered dark green "sky pools" create a unique visual impact amidst the red mountains, leaving us in awe of nature's wonders. (Tour duration: approximately 3.5 hours)

Drive to Zixing City and check into a boutique hotel in downtown Zixing (half an hour's drive).
You can make a dinner appointment together in the evening. When you come to Xiaodongjiang, you must not miss the famous local salmon. This is the low-temperature freshwater salmon raised in the water of Xiaodongjiang River. It has a different taste from the salmon we usually eat. You must not miss it.
There are a lot of steps in the scenic area today, which is tiring. Go to bed early to get enough energy for getting up early tomorrow to see the fog. You can massage your legs and soak your feet before going to bed.
Day 2 Xiaodongjiang River → Longjing Gorge → Doushuai Island → Chenzhou West Station

Gather and go to Xiaodongjiang Scenic Area (subject to the opening time of the scenic area)

Upon arrival at the scenic area, transfer to the scenic shuttle bus to the viewing platform, where you'll see the misty Xiaodong River and fishermen casting their nets. Before hiking along the plank path, admire the changing morning mists of the Xiaodong River, sometimes thicker and sometimes thinner. The mist, bathed in the golden glow of the sun, creates a dreamlike spectacle that will have you snapping away.
As the sun moves, the fog gradually dissipates. We head to Longjing Canyon to visit the Longjing Eighteen Waterfalls, which is known as the waterfall group of the South. In the negative oxygen ion gathering area, we can experience the fresh air of nature.
Take a ferry at the dam to Tushita Island, watch the ferry sailing through the green mountains and clear waters, and deeply experience the unique scenery of "a lake in the mountain, an island in the lake, a temple on the island, a cave in the temple, and a cave in the cave".
