The Presidential Palace complex has survived the Six Dynasties, Ming and Qing dynasties, the Taiping Rebellion, and the Republic of China, ultimately establishing its current structure. Let's explore this century of history together!
The morning session starts at 09:00 and the afternoon session starts at 13:30
The tour lasts about 2-2.5 hours, giving you a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the Presidential Palace (including guided tours of the Central Axis, West Line, and East Line).
Central Axis: It consists of the gatehouse, lobby, second hall, eight-character hall, reception hall, Qilin Gate, the Government Affairs Bureau Building, and Zichao Building. The architectural style combines Chinese and Western styles, opening up aesthetic appreciation.
The West Route comprises Xuyuan, Fangsheng Pavilion, the Marble Boat, the Provisional President's Office, and Sun Yat-sen's Living Room. Here, the chronicles of the Republic of China unfold, while also allowing visitors to experience the four seasons of Jiangnan gardens.
The East Route: Consists of Fuyuan, the Executive Yuan, the Stables, and the Centennial Monument of the Uprising. Learn about the Presidential Palace during different periods, from the Governor-General of Liangjiang to the Taiping Rebellion, and hear the stories behind it.
