Day 1 Shanghai → Xiaozhi → Redwood Forest → Taizhou Linhai Hotel

At 7:00 AM, we signed in at the designated China-TravelNote location and departed on time. Along the way, the team members introduced themselves to each other to help the new members integrate quickly. The group chatted and laughed along the way.
At 7:15, we got on the bus and set off on time. The tour leader interacted with everyone on the way and there was laughter and joy all the way.
Around 12:30 PM, we arrived at the Xiaozhi Redwood Forest, known as the Kanas of Zhejiang Province, along the mountain road. We got off the bus and grabbed our prepared lunch to refuel before enjoying the beautiful scenery.
After lunch, we warmed up with our guide and set off. While strolling, we suddenly saw a fiery redwood forest. Everyone was amazed at the spectacular autumn colors found in this valley. It felt like being transported to Kanas, with the fiery redwoods and even the grass covered in red leaves, a fairytale-like scene. Everyone frantically took photos and posed for photos. Then, we took a small path up to a higher elevation to see the redwoods. Seeing them from above was a completely different experience. Led by our guide, we began our ascent, heading deeper into the valley, where we found an even larger redwood forest.
At around 16:00, we retreated to the starting point, where the bus was waiting. We got on the bus and headed to Linhai City.
Arrive at the hotel around 5:00 PM and check in. In the evening, you'll have free time to explore Ziyang Old Street, where you'll find a variety of delicious snacks like wheat shrimp, wheat cakes, green rice dumplings, and seaweed pancakes. You'll also find the ancient Taizhou City Wall, known as the "Great Wall of Jiangnan."

Day 2 Linhai → Chaliao Village → Chaliao Ancient Road → Shanghai

Around 8:00, get up and find breakfast at your own pace. After breakfast, take a bus to Cha Liao Village.
Around 9:00, we arrived at the starting point of the Cha Liao Ancient Road. We walked and stopped along the ancient road, taking countless colorful photos.
Around 11:00 AM, we arrived at Chaliao Maple Ridge. The soft sunlight made the maple leaves' crimson even more dazzling. As we ascended and descended the ancient trail, the autumn breeze enchanted us without fatigue. Dozens of century-old red maples lined the path, their beauty captivating the eye. "Chaliao Maple Love" is one of Linhai's eight scenic spots. Whenever the autumn breeze blows, fiery red maple leaves flutter across the sky. Walking along the leaf-covered trail is a truly relaxing and cheerful experience. A picnic in the maple forest at noon was truly delightful.
In the afternoon we walked out of the maple forest and boarded the bus back to Shanghai.
Around 19:00, we returned to the gathering point in Shanghai and disbanded. Everyone hugged each other and said goodbye, looking forward to the next trip.
