08:30

We set off on time. On the bus, the tour leader will arrange for everyone to introduce themselves, play interactive games, and have fun laughing along the way!

10:00

To the Yangzhou Twin Museums (a combination of the Yangzhou China Woodblock Printing Museum and the Yangzhou New Museum), "visit a city for a museum". If you want to understand a city, start from the museums in that city.

Treasures in the Museum
‌Guangling Chaoyangzhou Ancient City Story‌: This exhibition hall is divided into five parts, showing the urban changes and development of Yangzhou from ancient times to the present day‌
‌National Treasure Hall‌: This exhibition hall displays only one exhibit - Yuan Dynasty Jilan Glaze White Dragon Pattern Plum Vase, which is the treasure of Yangzhou Museum and there are only three such pieces in the world‌

‌Yangzhou Eight Eccentrics Calligraphy and Painting Hall‌ and ‌Ming and Qing Dynasty Calligraphy and Painting Hall‌: It displays a large number of precious calligraphy and painting works, reflecting Yangzhou's achievements in calligraphy and painting art

11:30

Depart for the Dongguan Ancient Street District. After millennia of development, Dongguan Street boasts a rich tapestry of historical relics and cultural heritage. It's the best-preserved commercial street along China's Grand Canal, stretching from the ancient canal in the east to Guoqing Road in the west. Embracing the history and folk culture of the Ming and Qing dynasties, it's been named one of China's Top Ten Historical and Cultural Streets. Everything you need to know about vibrant Yangzhou is here, so feel free to explore the delights.

Yangzhou cuisine: We recommend trying the Wu Ding Bao and other steamed buns at the old-brand morning tea shops. Yangzhou fried rice and boiled dried bean curd are both the flavors of old Yangzhou. A cup of Yangda yogurt is also recommended.

Nearby attractions: Pi Shi Street (Pi Shi Street and the "Guangling Youyan" block are popular for Yangzhou souvenirs), Zhu Ziqing Memorial Hall (see how the young Zhu Ziqing, through his diligent study, successfully entered Peking University).

2:00 PM

Arriving at the China Grand Canal Museum, there are 12 historical and cultural halls + the Canal Mystery Escape Room Theme Hall. In addition to using various technologies and aesthetics to display the history and culture of the canal, various Internet celebrity settings have made it difficult to get a ticket since its opening. It has become the ceiling of Yangzhou Museum and is rare even in the country (after registration, you need to make an appointment for the afternoon session in advance in the "China Grand Canal Museum" applet to avoid missing the appointment time).

5:30 PM

Gather and return to Nanjing

7:00 PM

Arriving at the departure point in Nanjing, the group ends their relaxing and enjoyable one-day leisure tour of Yangzhou.

Driving time: 1.5 hours

Note: For the Grand Canal Museum of China, reservations must be made in advance. Before departure, please follow the corresponding official account or mini-program and make reservations for the corresponding time period according to the prompts.

Yangzhou, located on the north bank of the Yangtze River in central Jiangsu Province and the southern end of the Jianghuai Plain, is the intersection of the Yangtze River and the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. In addition to the popular poems such as "Fireworks in Yangzhou in March" and "A Ten-Year Dream of Yangzhou", the highlights and noise in history and the low-key and quiet in reality always make people sigh.
