Arriving at the starting point of Windmill Mountain, the team leader led everyone to warm up, and then began to climb the mountain. We climbed all the way and chose a platform for lunch at the right time.

2:30 PM

Arriving at the top of the windmill mountain, you can enjoy a wide view and take photos freely. If the weather is ideal, you can walk along the cement road on the ridge and enjoy the windmill scenery along the way. Then everyone will start to go down the mountain.

Arrived at the destination, gathered on the bus back, and arrived in Guangzhou at about 21:30. We kissed goodbye with tears and promised to see each other next time~

Driving time: about 3 and a half hours

Hiking: The hiking distance is 8 kilometers, with an ascent of 800 meters. It takes 6-7 hours to complete the journey. The route is mainly on primitive dirt roads.

Xinxing Fengche Mountain, part of the Tianlu Mountain Range, lies at the junction of Kaiping and Xinxing counties. A branch of the Tianlu Mountain range, it stands at 1,137 meters above sea level and is famous for the 46 wind turbine towers of the CGN Xinxing Xiangwo Wind Farm. From a distance, the peak reveals a rugged, overlapping landscape, rising and falling from west to east, creating a sense of a dragon's ambling. A slow climb along a thinly marked forest path takes about 2.5 hours to reach the summit of Shuiyuan Mountain, at 1,130 meters, Xinxing's third highest peak. The ridge is a broad, gentle grassy slope, where cattle occasionally roam. Scattered along the path are clumps of rhododendrons and some unknown white flowers...
