Today, tourists will travel to Nyingchi Airport or Nyingchi Railway Station on their own. Upon arrival, a complimentary 24-hour shuttle service will be provided, followed by transfer to your hotel. No activities will be arranged today, allowing you ample time to acclimatize to the altitude and explore the hotel on your own. We recommend resting early to recharge your batteries and prepare for tomorrow's itinerary.

The hotel is located on Taohua Avenue in Sayu Village, Zaxi Raodeng Township, adjacent to the Yarlung Zangbo River, the largest river in Tibet in the Himalayas. However, its altitude is less than 2,900 meters. The hotel has lush vegetation and high oxygen content, making it less prone to altitude sickness. It is an ideal place for tourism and vacation in Tibet.

Day 2 Nyingchi → Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon → Suosong Village

After breakfast, we'll depart Nyingchi and continue along the scenic highway, visiting the confluence of the Niyang and Yarlung Zangbo rivers, passing the sacred Mount Benri, and the small bend at Pai Town, heading towards the Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon. Here, you'll not only enjoy the beautiful canyon scenery, the majestic river, and the majestic snow-capped mountains, but also admire natural wonders such as the Buddha Palm Sand Dunes. Walking on the soft Buddha Palm Sand Dunes, with the snow-capped mountains and lakes in the distance, you'll experience the wonders of nature.

The Deepest Canyon in the World / A Music Played by Rivers and Snow-capped Mountains

Arrive at the Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon, once recognized by National Geographic as China's most beautiful canyon. The canyon boasts diverse scenery, with the Niyang River, originating on the west side of Mila Mountain, flowing gracefully through the gorge. Forgoing the traditional scenic bus tour, we'll enter by private vehicle, allowing you to gaze upon Mount Namjagbarwa, China's most beautiful snow-capped mountain. Enjoy afternoon tea on the snowy mountain, or enjoy a private outdoor picnic, where you can hear the heartbeat of Mount Namjagbarwa up close. For those with more stamina, we'll also offer a light hike, where you can gaze upon the snow-capped mountains and experience the rhythm of nature.

After the tour, drive back to Sosong Village and check in to the hotel.

Day 3: Suosong Village → Basongcuo (Lake Island Cruise) → Songtsam Afternoon Tea

Upon arrival in Bahe Town, we'll turn off the Lhasa-Nyingchi Highway and arrive at the beautiful Basongtso Scenic Area, where you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. Basongtso, also known as Cogao Lake, means "green water" in Tibetan. It boasts a vibrant mix of snow-capped mountains, lakes, forests, waterfalls, pastures, cultural relics, and historic temples. Its scenery changes with each season, and its rich diversity of rare and diverse wild plants makes it a true paradise on earth, earning it the nickname "Little Switzerland." Interested tourists can enjoy a leisurely hike along the lakeside plank path to experience the sacred lake up close. Afterward, we'll enjoy a 40-minute boat cruise to the lake's island, allowing you to fully appreciate the beauty of the island and its snow-capped mountains. Afterward, we'll check into the lakeside Songtsam Resort, where afternoon tea will be provided.

丨Wild Fun Experience/ Hiking Tour in Tibet

After breakfast, journey to Xincuo Lake, a hidden gem deep in the mountains (transfers may be required, Note 1), for a light hike (7km round trip, approximately 2.5 hours). Experience a breathtaking scene every five steps, a breathtaking scene every ten. Grasslands, forests, sacred lakes, snow-capped mountains, and herds of yaks—the plateau boasts a rich tapestry of scenery, rarely seen on tourist lists, yet a hidden gem. Xincuo Lake's crystal-clear blue waters, rippling with waves, transform into a breathtaking array of colors and scenery with the changing seasons. Lucky tourists may even enjoy mushroom picking during the hike!

丨Lhasa-Nyingchi Highway/ From the south of Tibet to the city of sunshine

The Lhasa-Nyingchi Highway is known as one of China's most beautiful roads. Mountains, rivers, villages, and snow-capped peaks blend into a poetic Tibetan landscape. This journey is a journey of breathtaking beauty! Driving along the newly renovated Lhasa-Nyingchi Highway, you'll be captivated by the breathtaking scenery of the Niyang River. Exiting the Mila Mountain Tunnel and following the Lhasa River Valley, the journey stretches over 400 kilometers from Nyingchi, the "Snowy Jiangnan," to Lhasa, the "City of Sunshine." Every kilometer is a picturesque sight.

Today, our journey continues in Lhasa, the "City of Sunshine," starting with the Potala Palace, a vast palace-like complex. It is the symbol of Lhasa and even Tibet, and a sacred place in the hearts of countless people. As the world's highest palace, the Potala Palace houses a rich collection of cultural relics and artifacts, preserving the precious cultural heritage of the Snowland.

丨Visiting the Heart of Faith/ First the Jokhang Temple, then Lhasa

Afterwards, we headed to the Jokhang Temple, the Tibetan "heart of faith," boasting 1,300 years of history. Enshrined here is a life-size statue of the twelve-year-old Sakyamuni Buddha, brought from Chang'an inland by Princess Wencheng. Lhasa's reputation as a "holy city" is crucially influenced by this temple, and countless devout Tibetans travel thousands of miles to Lhasa to kowtow and make this pilgrimage.

丨Walk around the Barkhor Ancient City / Walk around the streets with pilgrims

We then arrived at Barkhor Street. Originally a simple circumambulation path around the Jokhang Temple, it was known as the "Holy Road" by Tibetans, hence the frequent sight of pilgrims. Today, it has become a bustling market with numerous shops, a must-see for tourists visiting Lhasa.
