We will meet you at your hotel and begin our cultural tour of the Holy City of Lhasa. We'll first visit the Potala Palace, a magnificent palace-like complex nestled atop Red Hill northwest of Lhasa. It is a symbol of Lhasa and Tibet, a sacred place in the hearts of countless people. As the world's highest palace, the Potala Palace houses a rich collection of artifacts and artifacts, preserving the precious cultural heritage of the land of snow. Lunch will be served at a Tibetan or Nepalese restaurant, showcasing the flavors of Tibet.
Note 2: Potala Palace tickets may be limited during peak seasons and holidays. The itinerary will be adjusted according to the actual reservation date. Please be advised. If you cannot make a reservation, the tour will be adjusted to the Norbulingka Summer Palace + Tibet Museum.
丨Visiting the Heart of Faith/ First the Jokhang Temple, then Lhasa
After lunch, we headed to the Jokhang Temple, the "heart of faith" of the Tibetan people, boasting a 1,300-year-old history. Enshrined here is a life-size statue of the twelve-year-old Sakyamuni Buddha, brought from Chang'an inland by Princess Wencheng. Lhasa's reputation as a "holy city" is deeply rooted in this temple, and countless devout Tibetans travel thousands of miles to Lhasa to kowtow and make this pilgrimage.

We then arrived at Barkhor Street. Originally a simple circumambulation path around the Jokhang Temple, it was known as the "Holy Road" by Tibetans, hence the frequent sight of pilgrims. Today, it's become a bustling market with numerous shops, a must-see for visitors to Lhasa. While strolling around, we also planned an afternoon tea with a view of the Potala Palace at a rooftop café, enjoying a quiet moment with a sweet tea or coffee.

Afterward, we'll experience the intangible cultural heritage of Tibetan incense making. Tibetan incense, a rare "heavenly wood" found in the sacred snow-capped mountains of Tibet, has a history dating back 1,300 years. Today, the art of making Tibetan incense has been approved by the State Council and listed as a national intangible cultural heritage. Under the guidance of a professional instructor, we'll cleanse our hands, offer incense, take our seats, and meditate, allowing us to blend and make our own incense, gaining a deeper understanding of Tibetan incense culture.
丨Lhasa's Three Major Monasteries/Sera Monastery's unique debate ceremony
Head to Sera Monastery, located at the foot of Mount Uzi in the northern suburbs of Lhasa. One of the three major monasteries in Lhasa and the second-largest in Tibet, the monastery boasts magnificent Tibetan architecture, including a magnificent and magnificent main hall. The monastery houses numerous Buddha statues, as well as a vast collection of Buddhist scriptures, exquisite thangkas, embroidery, murals, and other valuable art treasures, making it a perfect place for both worship and appreciation. Sera Monastery's renowned Buddhist debates are a highlight of any visit to the monastery. Day 3 Lhasa → Yamdrok Lake → Rito Monastery → Lhasa

After breakfast, we'll depart for Yamdrok Lake, one of Tibet's three sacred lakes. Its mirror-like waters and lush lakeside grasses create a fertile plateau pasture. Local Tibetans praise the lake in folk songs: "A paradise in heaven, a Yamdrok on earth. Stars in the sky, cattle and sheep by the lake." We'll first arrive at the Yajiang River Valley Observation Deck, where you can take photos with legendary Tibetan mastiffs and adorable blue sheep. Be sure to negotiate a price with the local Tibetans; the price is generally 10 yuan per person. We'll then reach the Gangbala Mountain Observation Deck in the Yamdrok Scenic Area for plenty of photos. The stunning scenery of the Naiqin Kangsang Snow Mountain and Yamdrok Lake will captivate you.
丨Secret Rito Temple / Enjoy a secluded island with 360° lake views
Afterward, we'll reach Rito Monastery, a secluded temple nestled on the shores of the emerald Yamhu Lake. Enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of the lake and explore the daily life of the ascetic monks, a truly breathtaking experience both visually and spiritually. Located on the outer loop of the Yamhu Lake circumference route, Rito Monastery is surrounded on three sides by an island and perched atop a hill. A small Sakya monastery, Rito Monastery offers a 270-degree panoramic view of Yamhu Lake. From the summit, the picturesque scenery of Yamhu Lake, surrounded on all sides by its turquoise waters, will make you reluctant to leave, hoping to return to Lhasa in due time.
