Going up the mountain along the trail, you will be accompanied by rows of ancient Torreya grandis trees. The Millennium Torreya Grandis Forest Park covers an area of more than 13,000 mu, with 113 ancient Torreya grandis tree groups and more than 20,000 Torreya grandis trees over 100 years old. Hiking on the ancient trail is not only challenging, but also full of wild fun and extremely high oxygen content. It is the best choice for quiet time and fresh air in the wild.
This is the [Kingdom of Torreya grandis]. Farmers have made a living by growing Torreya grandis for generations. As the "guardians" of the Torreya grandis king, farmers have taken on the responsibility of protecting the ancient trees. Some ancient trees can be seen everywhere being artificially cultivated. The Torreya grandis fruits that fill the trees year after year are a testimony to the harmonious coexistence of the villagers and the Torreya grandis forest.
As a rare species in the world, Torreya grandis is a gift from nature to this land.
After experiencing the century-long cold wave and glacier disaster, hundreds of thousands of Torreya grandis trees are now guarding this land in rows.
These Torreya grandis trees are tall and straight, with luxuriant branches and leaves and intertwined roots, which can be called a wonder of the forest.
At the end of the hike, the Torreya King is quietly waiting for your visit. It is one of the oldest Torreya trees in the world. The tree was planted in 445 AD during the reign of Emperor Wen of the Southern Song Dynasty.
According to legend, from the heyday of the Tang Dynasty to the end of the Ming Dynasty, people worshipped it as the "God of Torreya".
