After getting on the bus and setting off, the tour guide led the tourists to introduce themselves and play interactive games, making everyone laugh and have fun along the way.

Arriving at the starting point and warming up, we walked through quaint villages and along country roads until we reached a large tea plantation, where we paused to admire and take photos. After a short rest, we continued on our way, crossing Jiashan Mountain. The ascent was a bit more treacherous, but a breathtaking Metasequoia forest awaited us. Soon, a fiery red Metasequoia forest, framed by emerald green lakes, emerged before us. Such a breathtaking view made us quicken our pace. Once we reached the Metasequoia forest, we were stunned by the beauty, and every photo we took was a masterpiece.

At noon, we enjoyed a picnic in the Metasequoia forest by the lake. Everyone took out the delicious food they brought and shared it together.

After lunch, we continued our journey, hiking along a path to the right of the Maichai'ao Reservoir. The reservoir reflected the surrounding mountains and blue sky, creating a breathtaking scene. The hike from the base of the reservoir to the Tianhu Scenic Area was a slight climb that tested our resolve. Afterward, we ascended to the observation deck for breathtaking views of Tianhu Lake. We then followed a path through tea plantations to the Maichai'ao Reservoir Dam, where the depths of the reservoir were breathtaking. With the right timing, we could catch a stunning sunset. Finally, we descended from the dam. Along the way, we passed Maichai'ao Reservoir, a metasequoia forest, tea plantations, the Tianhu Scenic Area, and other attractions. The total hike was approximately 12 kilometers and of moderate intensity.

When we arrived at the demountain point, the bus was already waiting there and we boarded the bus to return to Hangzhou.

When we arrived at the starting point, everyone was reluctant to leave and kissed goodbye with tears in their eyes.
