【Fireworks Hanling】
10:30 Arrive at Hanling Old Street. Hanling is located on the south bank of Dongqian Lake, surrounded by mountains on three sides and facing the lake on one side. In the past, it was the only way to and from Xianxiang, Dasong, Tangxi, Zhanqi and other towns. It has developed commerce and rich cultural heritage. Wang Anshi once governed Yinzhou here. When Shi Hao, the prime minister of the Southern Song Dynasty, passed by Hanling on his way to Xiashui Village, his ancestral home, he also wrote: "There is a village called Hanling, where the sounds of fishermen's songs and woodcutters' axes blend together."
Hanling, known as the "No. 1 Ancient Street in Eastern Zhejiang", is a well-preserved typical ancient water village in eastern Zhejiang. A clear stream like a ribbon surrounds the village, and picturesque green mountains are set off on both sides. There are the misty scenery of the vast South Lake, the ancient and vicissitudes of life century-old streets, the winding streets and alleys, the green farmland, and the rafters, corridors, curved windows, beams, patios, stone paths, ancient bridges and ancient wells of many traditional houses, all of which reflect the erosion of wind and rain over the years and the traces left by history, showing an ancient and old solemnity, which makes people feel that time is flowing back here and indulge in the charming scenery of the ancient water village.
The food in Hanling also has its own characteristics. The steamed Peng fish cooked with Dongqian Lake river fresh, stir-fried snails, black carp, Qianhu river shrimp, etc. are must-try. Various snacks, colorful rice cake slices, fried smoked fish, rice buns, green rice balls, glutinous rice cakes, water tower cakes, yellow glutinous rice cakes, roasted vegetable rice cakes, soy sauce roasted small potatoes, radish stew, oil-fried dumplings, and handmade fried tofu are all the taste of Ningbo people's childhood.
In the corner of the old street, there is a petty bourgeoisie cafe with an up-to-date INS style decoration. It looks very peaceful and comfortable, making people want to sit down and rest.
【Lingnan Ancient Trail】
At 1:00 PM, we'll gather and depart for the Lingnan Ancient Trail behind the ancient village. The trail is well-maintained and perfect for a post-meal digestion. Along the way, we'll admire tea plantations, ancient trails, ancient temples, canyons, and streams. Ascending along the trail, we'll take in the panoramic views of Dongqian Lake. From a bird's-eye view, the lake resembles a sleeping beauty, lying before us, its shimmering waters shimmering. The distant mountains are azure, while the nearby pines and cypresses are lush and captivating. If you're not hiking, you can freely wander the old streets or enjoy a scenic stroll along the lakeside.
Around 16:00, we went down the mountain and returned to the old street. We said goodbye to the old street and took a bus back to Hangzhou. We arrived back at the starting point at around 18:30. The trip ended here. Goodbye, tourists!
