After a short rest, we packed our swimsuits and beach gear and headed to [Salon Beach].
Qushan Island has nine beaches, with Shuanglong Beach leading the way. It consists of two main beaches, Lengzhi and Shalong, arranged in a crescent shape from east to west. Shalong Beach is 1,100 meters long and 300 meters wide. Its sand is exceptionally fine and clean, resembling a strand of sand lying in the sea. It's a famous bathing beach on Qushan Island, where you can fly kites, play Frisbee, touch conchs, catch crabs, find oysters, and take photos. You can also choose any water activities you're interested in and quietly greet the sunset over the sea.
When you are tired of playing, go back to the hotel for dinner. How can you miss a delicious seafood dinner when you come to Qushan Island?
In the evening, you can enjoy free time, stroll under the starry sky and gaze at the twinkling fishing lights in the distance.
Day 2 Qushan Island Full Day
·morning
After breakfast, departure.
Head to the Windmill Observation Deck for a breathtaking sea view. Watch the windmills whirr with the gentle sea breeze. From this breathtaking vantage point on Qushan Island, you'll instantly understand why it's known as the "Windmill Kingdom of the Sea."
Strolling down the plank road, enjoying the sea view all the way, you will arrive at the [Liangzhi Fishing Village] by the sea. Various seafood are drying on the roadside. You can stroll around the village leisurely, chat with the elderly in front of their homes, and enjoy a moment of slow life in the bright and narrow alleys.
Next to it is [Daozhe Mountain], with a seaside plank road looping around, crossing a suspension bridge, passing a rocky beach, and looking at the sea and sky merging into one, with endless blue waves; nestled between the mountains and the sea, with a spacious hinterland, a good ecology and a clever geographical structure, it outlines a leisurely scene that is like a paradise on earth.
Visit Liangzhi Beach and stroll along the beach promenade.
Have a free lunch in the fishing village at noon, then return to the hotel to rest.
·afternoon
After lunch, we'll regroup and head out to the Thousand Acres of Tribute Salt Fields. Qushan has been known as the "Hometown of Tribute Salt" since the Song Dynasty. The salt fields, open and sprawling, the salt flowers, shimmering and translucent, the salt piles, pure white as snow, interweave and interplay, creating a dazzling, multi-dimensional landscape. A special experience: Led by salt farmers, donning shoe covers, we will descend into the crystal-clear salt fields to experience drying and harvesting salt.
In the evening, we arrived at the Green Fields Village. Over time, the old buildings nestled against the hillside have become a haven for creepers and a variety of greenery, creating a fairy-tale-like experience. This is a paradise for photography enthusiasts and a perfect spot to watch the sunset over the sea.
Return to the residence for dinner and rest.
Day 3 Qushan Island → Hangzhou
·morning
After breakfast, depart for Guanyin Mountain, the highest peak in Daishan County and known as the "Second Buddhist Kingdom of the East China Sea." Legend has it that Guanyin Bodhisattva practiced here for three years before ascending to Putuo Mountain, hence the name. The peak is often shrouded in mist, creating a hazy, celestial scene. In summer and autumn, white clouds drift around the peak, sometimes thick, sometimes thin, creating a mystical, ever-changing scene. Winding banners twirl across the sky, resembling an immortal descending on clouds. This "Guanyin Riding the Mist" spectacle is a remarkable sight on Guanyin Mountain. We'll continue along the route to Hongyin Temple, Puqing Temple, and finally to Hongfu Temple on the mountaintop. These three temples are collectively known as Guangji Zen Temple, where devout believers gather to pay their respects and offer prayers.
We arrived at the Jade Buddha Pagoda on the top of the mountain, overlooking the entire sea, feeling the sea breeze, and gazing at the shape, leaving behind beautiful memories.
