Day 3 Hotel → Tiger Roaring Rock → & One Line Sky → Dahongpao Scenic Area → Rock Bone and Flower Fragrance Trail → Guyaju → Water Curtain Cave → Hotel
All day
08:00-11:00 Hike from [Tiger Roaring Rock] to [One Line of Sky] (approximately 3 hours). Tiger Roaring Rock is famous for its wind-whistling ravines and springs hanging among the pines. Walk to [One Line of Sky] - In a deep canyon south of the second bend of Jiuqu Creek, stands a towering boulder called "Lingyan," hundreds of feet long and thousands of feet high. Entering the depths of the rock through Fuxi Cave, you'll see a crack in the rock's top, as if split by an axe. The crack is less than a foot and about a hundred meters long, allowing a breathtaking ray of sunlight to filter through.
12:00-13:00 Free lunch
From 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM, embark on a 3-hour traverse hike along the Rock and Flower Fragrance Trail, visiting the Dahongpao Mother Tree. Dahongpao, the top-ranked Wuyi rock tea, grows in the Jiulongke area in the northern Wuyishan Scenic Area. Only a few trees remain, producing only a few taels of taels annually, making it considered a rare treasure. The Tea Appreciation Trail, filled with birdsong and fragrance, offers breathtaking views of mountains, waterways, small bridges, and ancient temples. The trail passes through tea plantations crisscrossed by three pits and two streams, passing Liuxiang Stream, overlooking Feilai Peak, Huiyuan Temple, and the mysterious Ancient Cliff Dwelling, before finally reaching Water Curtain Cave, one of Wuyishan's renowned 72 caves. A small waterfall cascades from the top of Xiabin Rock, known as the Small Water Curtain Cave, providing cool, shaded views from the sun. (This route is also available in reverse.)
