Visit the ancient site of Xu Fu's eastward journey and admire the beauty of Jiulong Lake

Day 1 Hangzhou → Cixi → Hangzhou

All day

07:00-07:30 Gather at Huanglong Seafood Stall and depart on time.

The tour leader led everyone to interact in the car, introduced the itinerary and precautions, and there was laughter and joy all the way.

We arrived at the hiking starting point, Jiulong Lake Wetland Park, around 10:00 AM. After disembarking, our tour leader led a thorough warm-up. We then set off along the trail to the Jiulong Lake Diving Base, with signposts along the way, heading towards Qindu Temple.

We arrived at Qindu Temple around 12:00 PM. A little further ahead, we found the Xu Fu ruins. The Xu Fu's Eastern Crossing Cliff Carvings are the only physical evidence discovered in China of Xu Fu's journey eastward. We rested here, had a meal, and shared the delicious food. After lunch, the road continued smoothly, passing Taohua Pavilion and Sanjie Pavilion to the Shanmu Base.

Start rushing to the top of Kowloon around 16:00.

At around 17:00, we descended Jiulong Mountain and returned to the end of Jiulong Lake Wetland Park. After a brief rest and replenishment, we boarded the bus back to Hangzhou.

We returned to the city around 20:30, kissed goodbye with tears, and saw each other again.

Driving time: One way: two and a half hours

Hiking: about 20 kilometers, cumulative climbing about 1000 meters, taking about 5-6 hours

Note: There is a drop-off point at Jiulong Lake Scenic Area. If you are checked, you need to pay 50 yuan per person.

Dapeng Mountain, formerly known as Xiangshan, is located in southeastern Cixi City, straddling the towns of Sanbei, Longshan, and Fanshi. Dapeng Mountain boasts numerous peaks and lush forests, offering panoramic views of the vast East China Sea. To reach Dapeng, one can ascend from Hetou Hengxi Village south of the mountain, Fengpu'ao at the eastern foot of the mountain, or along the ancient path north of the mountain. The name "Dapeng" suggests that from this point, one can sail to the fairyland of Penglai.
