After arriving at our destination, Gucheng Village, we did some simple warm-up exercises, crossed the ancient trail, and started hiking.

The road conditions along Jingai Mountain are very good, and there are many photo spots. Of course, there will be a climb before reaching the summit, but after reaching the summit, you will have a panoramic view and a wide field of vision.

After the hike, we drove to Digang Ancient Town. Digang is surrounded by water and has a beautiful environment. It is a gathering place of culture and has many ancient buildings. Here you can experience the environment and culture of our grandparents’ lives, stroll along the ancient streets, and take photos in various poses.

1:30 PM

We are in the ancient Digang Village, which is quaint and simple in folk customs. The village is located on the bank of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. The village is very simple in appearance, but the architecture shows that it was once prosperous. The village is well connected. Let's find a treasure teahouse in the ancient village called Yiyuan.

Walking into the teahouse feels like stepping back in time, 50 years or even earlier. The atmosphere is full of the everyday life. The neighbors are always eager to help, and the neighborhood is harmonious, creating a warm and unforgettable feeling. A cup of tea in the teahouse is a perfect place to spend a leisurely weekend.

Explore the village's delicious food for lunch, including traditional dishes like "Mian Qianlong," "Mian Shizi," and "Mian Youcai." Explore local specialties at Awen Rice Cake Shop, Yusang Fish Head Noodles, the 20-year-old Shi's Wonton Shop, and Laodifang Restaurant (with meat pie).

3. Is this route crowded?

Most of our routes are natural and niche, with relatively small traffic. Of course, it also depends on the registration situation for each period. Generally, ordinary models are 37-seat buses, and a few large models are 53-seat. Each car has a certain proportion of tour leaders to ensure the quality of the event.

Digang Ancient Village boasts a thousand-year-old history. Historically, it earned its name from the dense reeds lining the banks of the river, earning it the nickname "Tiaoxi Fishing Hideaway." Surrounded by water, Digang boasts a beautiful environment, rich cultural heritage, and numerous ancient buildings. It is a National 4A-level scenic spot.
