Day 1: Travel to the meeting point [Fuding] from all over the country
All day
1. Today is the gathering day. Tourists from all over the country will go to Fuding City to gather and check in. After arriving, please go to the designated hotel and report "China-Travel Note + Name" to check in.
2. Afterwards, it's free time: If you only know about Fuding's meat slices, then congratulations, you'll be able to enjoy a feast for days in Fuding. They offer not only meat slices (meatballs), but also beef balls, fish slices, and pork tendons, all served in soup or mixed dishes. However, if you also know about the many other local snacks besides meat slices, such as rice cake soup, hand-beaten noodles, liuliu, honey-glazed chicken wings, pan-fried rice cakes, pan-fried buns, and almond tofu... then buy an early train ticket!
PS: Before your trip, the locals in Fuding will share their food and drink tips for the old street. For 100 yuan, you can eat all the different dishes at Citywalk.
Day 2 Fuding City Hotel → Yujing Wharf → Dayushan Island → Yangguwei → Moon Bay → Matsu Village
All day
1. Meet at Fuding Hotel at 7:50 AM and depart for Xiapu [Sansha Pier] at 8:00 AM (approximately 50 minutes by car. Please be aware that the boat does not wait for you and you are not allowed to be late.)
2. The island leader will meet you at the pier and take the 9:00 boat to the island (the boat ride takes about 30 minutes). Your luggage will be dropped off at the boutique B&B in [Matsu Village], and you can start your weekend island trip with ease.
3. The island tour will start at approximately 10:00 AM (approximately 24 kilometers by electric bike; buses/cars are available on statutory holidays):
First stop: Yuniao Village: With a poetic name reminiscent of Jay Chou's lyrics, "The love between a seabird and a fish is just an accident," Sunshine Drum is located on a high ground in the north of Yuniao Village. From the summer solstice to the autumnal equinox, it's the place on the island where you can watch the sunrise and sunset simultaneously.
The second stop is Moon Bay: The curved beach is crescent-shaped. There are clean beaches and reefs. When the tide goes out, there are all kinds of small crabs. You can catch a small crab.
The third stop is [Dongjiao Village]: The fishing port in the village is lined with fishing boats. Walk to the glass plank road at the top of the village and you can take a bird's-eye view of the spectacular fishing port!
At noon, you can have a simple bowl of seafood noodles in the village. The noodle soup alone is so delicious that it will make your eyebrows drop. Let’s share the Yu-style seaweed pizza.
In the afternoon, we will head south to the easternmost point of the island, Yangguwei (about 20 minutes by car, about 2 hours of sightseeing).
Here, there is a lonely lighthouse standing quietly on an isolated island, as well as the ruins of abandoned military trenches. There are also spectacular sea erosion landforms by the sea, making it seem like a secluded place [Cape No. 8]
The [Nomi Amman Island] located here is romantic and literary. The lighthouse stands quietly in the distance, the sea-view swing sways gently in the breeze, the swimming pool is very comfortable, and the white cottages facing the sea are so beautiful that any photo you take will be a blockbuster.
The white church, which was still in its infancy when the variety show "Island Boys" was filmed, has now become a beautiful filming location.
5. Continue driving south and west, passing Wudieshi and Zhuzikeng Observation Deck, and return to Matsu Village in the evening to witness the sunset over the Orange Sea.
6. After AA island seafood at night, everyone can freely explore the village, check in at the [Mo Yu Wall], go to the [Mo Yu Workshop] to make an island refrigerator magnet (at their own expense), unlock 100 ways to eat yellow croaker in the Chinese coffee shop where Ding Zhen "worked", check out the coffee of the same name as the island boy, and go to the Military Fort Bar to have some barbecue... Island life is so comfortable!
Day 3 Accommodation → Dayushan Island Tianhu Scenic Area → Big and Small Tianhu Lakes → Tuofeng Ridge → Matsu Village → Yujing Wharf → Fuding Station

1. Depart at 8:00 AM and take the scenic shuttle bus (approximately 20 minutes) to the starting point of our hike, Datian Lake, to begin our journey to Wugong Mountain on the Sea.
2. Walk around the lake, passing the Tianhu Tea Mountain and climbing the steps to the ridgeline between the two Tianhu Lakes. These two Tianhu Lakes are known as the pure eyes of Dayushan Island. They are rich in moisture and mist, and with good luck, a dreamy sea of clouds may appear.
3. Conquer the Camelback: This is a ridgeline that spans between Xiaotian Lake and the sea. Wander among the southern grasslands and appreciate the ridge's beauty (the whole journey is about 2 hours)
4. After a quick lunch back at Matsu Village, we will take a boat to Dayushan Island at approximately 1:20 PM (the boat ride takes about 30 minutes). After leaving the island, we will take a bus back to Fuding Station (the bus ride takes about 50 minutes). We recommend taking the train after 3:15 PM.
