Guangde Jishan Bamboo Sea | Crossing the National Hiking Trail

Day 1 Nanjing โ†’ Jishan Bamboo Sea โ†’ Bamboo Sea Trail โ†’ Nanjing

07:15

From 07:15 to 07:30, we will gather and sign in at Exit 1 of Andemen Station, Line 1 of Nanjing Metro, when we see the yellow China-TravelNote flag.

07:30

We set off on time. On the bus, the tour leader will arrange for everyone to introduce themselves, play interactive games, and have fun laughing along the way!

10:30

Arrive at the starting point of the hike.

After a short rest, we sorted out our climbing gear and replenished our water (there are snacks and water supplies at the starting point, as well as a coffee shop), and then started our hike through the bamboo sea, which is a national hiking trail.

The main route follows the mountain range. Breathe in the fresh air as you ascend to the summit, gazing out at the distant peaks, and let the cool breeze wash away all your worries.
The hiking trails are diverse and fascinating: bamboo forests, fir tree paths, gravel paths, stone steps, gurgling streams, alpine tea plantations, and mountain reservoirs.

While satisfying the appreciation of the visual beauty, we also take into account our hiking experience.

12:00

At noon, we prepared our own lunch and enjoyed an authentic outdoor picnic in the mountains.

4:00 PM

Arrive at the destination and return to Nanjing.

7:00 PM

Return to the starting point in Nanjing and disband happily.
