All day

7:00-7:15 Meet at the designated location of China-TravelNote (no latecomers!) Depart on time at 7:15.

7:15-11:00 The journey is long, and the tour leader will introduce himself and explain the itinerary in the car, with laughter all the way. During the car journey, friends can also recharge their energy for the next hike.

Around 11:00 AM, we arrived at Ganling Reservoir and took some photos. The scenery was beautiful.
We then walked along a country road to the Ganling Lake Dam. Suddenly, the view opened up to a lake of autumn colors, shimmering on the water. Red leaves reflected on the lakeside, and Niangniang Mountain towered in the distance! A perfect lunch stop along the way.

Led by our team leader, we entered a wide, soft firebreak and began our ascent. The firebreak, a soft dirt path through the pine forest, was particularly captivating. We ascended through elegant jungle and crisp bamboo forests, entering the red foliage area of Changle Forest Farm and reaching the summit of Niangniang Mountain, approximately 8 kilometers away.

The enchanting autumn scenery along the way: golden ginkgo trees, fiery red redwoods, colorful sweetgum trees, and autumn leaves covering the ground, made this place look like a fairy tale world. As the sun set, we circled the lake from the other side.

Around 16:30, we returned to the boarding point, boarded our beloved bus, and ended our journey for the day.

We arrived in Shanghai around 19:30. We helped each other along the way and were reluctant to leave. We kissed goodbye with tears.

Dayu Valley: A serene haven in western Hangzhou. Numerous reservoirs and lakes, shimmering in the valley's emerald waters, add to the valley's beauty. Surrounded by verdant mountains and clear waters, there's no noise except for the chirping of birds, the buzzing of insects, and the crowing of roosters, and there's no trace of pollution. The area boasts numerous historical and cultural sites, and the ancient folklore of Dayu's flood control deepens the region's significance. Niangniang Mountain, the main peak, rises 400 meters above sea level, resembling a miniature Mount Fuji.
In autumn, passing through lush bamboo forests, one enters the core area of Changle Forest Farm. Looking up, one is greeted by breathtaking views of the captivating red leaves of sweetgum trees swaying in the breeze, golden ginkgo trees towering over ponds, and straight, reddish
-green metasequoia trees marking the long forest path. The scenery is breathtaking. Changle Forest Farm boasts numerous tall trees, including camphor, torreya, maple, and fir. In autumn, the forest transforms into a vibrant array of red, yellow, and green. Because it is a forest farm and there are not many houses, after a gust of autumn wind, the tree-lined road will be covered with a thick layer of fallen leaves. Walking on it feels a bit like the scenes of European towns in movies, which will make people feel dazed.
