09:30
We arrived at the foot of Nanshan Mountain in Zhenjiang, disembarked, and set off in formation. After a short hike, we arrived at Sun Moon Lake in Nanshan. The lake was winding and steep, and when the sun shone through the caves and reflected on the water, it was a truly magical experience!
10:30
We arrived at the Great Rift Valley, a popular check-in spot in Nanshan. The naturally formed fracture between two mountains, like a celestial being split in half, was a marvel at nature's uncanny craftsmanship. Lunch (dry rations) and rest were provided at the appropriate time.
After a good rest, we continued our journey, passing the ancient Gaochong Temple with a long history, crossing the quiet bamboo forest, and arriving at the Lotus Cave. The Lotus Cave has been excavated three times and is an ancient human site from the Paleolithic Age. Its rocks are honeycomb-shaped, with strange and ingenious shapes and natural exquisiteness.
3:30 PM
We returned to the starting point of the loop, where the bus had already picked us up, and everyone boarded the bus for the return journey.
5:00 PM
Back to the starting point in Nanjing, everyone was still reluctant to leave and kissed goodbye with tears in their eyes.
We will adjust the itinerary based on the actual conditions of the hike, which may extend the hiking time and mileage. Please be aware of this when registering!
