Day 1 Nanjing → Fuyang → Xianren Cave → Nanjing
06:45
From 6:45 to 7:00, we will gather and sign in at Exit 1 of Andemen Station, Line 1 of Nanjing Metro, when we see the yellow China-TravelNote flag.
07:00
We set off on time. On the bus, the leader will arrange for everyone to introduce themselves, and there will be laughter and joy along the way.
11:00
Arrive at the starting point of the hike and walk up along the ancient bluestone path, passing green mountains and clear waters along the way.
12:00
Arriving at the Shenxianshan Stone Forest, there are large wild and natural stone forests. Enter and feel the mystery of the stone forest. This is a great place to play hide-and-seek (be careful). Here we enjoy our own lunch.
13:00
Continuing on, we made our way to the other side of the col. Within ten minutes, the entrance to the Immortal Cave suddenly appeared before us. A chill hit us, bringing to mind scenes from the film "Grave Robbers' Chronicles." We grabbed headlamps and flashlights and set out to explore the mysterious underground world. We first descended a short distance to a spacious cavern, where we could check in and take photos. Then, after descending a steep slope, we embarked on a combination of wild climbing and caving. The entire process required both hands and feet, and narrow passages required sideways and slow movement, making it difficult for larger individuals. The smallest caves required crawling (the final section, a round-trip route, was optional).
2:30 PM
Leaving the Immortal Cave, we went down the mountain.
4:00 PM
Arrive at the foot of the mountain, follow the road back to the drop-off point, and take a bus back to Nanjing.
8:00 PM
We will return to our starting point in Nanjing. Everyone is reluctant to leave and kisses goodbye with tears in their eyes!
Special Tips:
1. The cave is damp and cold, so please keep warm. There are many bats in the cave, so if you are afraid of them, please be careful when registering.
2. A headlamp and flashlight are required (phone flashlights or apps are not acceptable). Entering the cave without one is prohibited. Walkie-talkies are highly recommended for communication with the tour leader in case of an emergency.
3. The depth of the cave depends on the overall speed of the day, the level of the team members, the number of people in the cave, etc. Please follow the team leader's arrangements for specific details.
4. The light inside the cave is very dim, there is no mobile phone signal, no GPS signal, no satellite signal, and there are many forks in the road, making it very easy to get lost. It is strictly forbidden to leave the group without permission!!!
