Day 1 Shanghai → Xiangshan → Shipu Fishing Port → Hotel
All day
7:15-7:30, gather at the designated location of China-TravelNote and sign in.
At 7:30 sharp, we boarded the bus and set off. Led by the tour leader, we had an itinerary briefing and interesting interactions on the bus. We laughed and chatted all the way, and before we knew it, we were approaching our destination.
Around 12:00 PM, we arrived at Xiangshan Shipu Fishing Port. First, let's take a group photo! Then, we'll split our bill at a roadside noodle restaurant and feast on some delicious Xiangshan delicacies!
After lunch, we set off on a hike, starting in Shipu and passing through small villages, from the coast to the mountains. From the observation deck, we overlooked the harbor of our childhood memories, which was truly beautiful. As we climbed up the mountain, we looked ahead at the lush green tea plantations, and behind us, we saw the old harbor and the boundless ocean. "Spring mountain flowers and rain are nowhere to be found, but the mountains and sea breezes are refreshing." This place is a holy place for taking in the distant views!
Continue forward, go down the mountain along the Lingtou Ancient Road, pass by Wenchang Pavilion, Qingliang Temple, Fisherman's Temple and many other temples, with the sea breeze and sea view all the way, and return to the ancient town of Shipu Fishing Port.
Around 5:30 PM, the leisurely ancient town awaited our return. Connected to the fishing port on one side and nestled deep in the mountains on the other, it follows the undulating terrain and retains its ancient city walls, streets, shops, and other buildings. We slowly explored the area, immersing ourselves in the past, immersing ourselves in the lives of the locals, and rediscovering childhood memories. If we felt hungry while strolling, we quickly headed out for a feast!
Around 21:00, we walked back to the hotel and fell into a sweet dream.

2nd Tianxiangshan Hotel → Chumen Old Street → Shifeng Mountain → Volcanic Tea Field → Windmill Rainbow Road → Xiandie Beach → Yuhuan Hotel
All day
Get up early and go watch the sunrise with your friends! The beach is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel, and you'll experience a stunning sunrise over the sea, only available in spring and summer.
Around 8:00 AM, I got up, packed up, and checked out. Around 8:30 AM, I boarded the bus to Yuhuan, Taizhou. (This made the journey more enjoyable by avoiding the traffic jams out of Shanghai.)
Around 11:00 AM, we arrived at Chumen Old Street. Stepping off the bus, we were transported back in time. The entire street felt like the 1990s. Street vendors lazily basked in the sun, the wind caressed the faces of children playing in the alleyways. The worn, yellowed plaques were authentic, century-old signs. Fisherman's Street evoked the 1990s. Have a bowl of fish skin wontons. Fresh eel is shaved, mixed with sweet potato flour, and pounded until translucent. The meat filling, when tossed in, creates a cloud-like, alluring dish. There's also chicken wine, tin cakes, and fried food from the old street. Don't leave Chumen until you're full!
Around 1:00 PM, we arrived at the Shifeng Mountain hiking trailhead. This is East China's best-preserved volcanic site, a site that erupted prehistorically and is now inactive, yet retains its original form. Today, the lush, terraced tea fields offer a breathtaking view, and the volcanic tea they produce is renowned.
We passed the ruins of the crater and descended along the ancient stone slabs to Heron Reef, where we could "dance with the egrets and search for hidden pearls." Windmills, ponds, and migratory birds formed a leisurely seaside scene. We strolled through the village, experiencing the nostalgia of the small fishing village.
Continuing on, we embarked on the Niutoujing section of Yuhuan Highway 1, a prime spot. The Rainbow Trail meandered along, flanked by the ocean and windmills, and a spring breeze blew through, creating a truly relaxing experience. Continuing up the Rainbow Trail, we arrived at Xiandie Beach, where everyone had a blast playing in the sand and water.
Around 18:30, the sun sets and the afterglow dyes the entire sea orange. Perhaps the only person who can be compared with this scenery is you who are holding a camera to take pictures. Embrace the sunset with your friends. Yuhuan freezes time, and we use cameras to freeze the beauty.
Around 19:00, my stomach started rumbling, so I went back to town to look for food. I went back to the hotel for a good night’s sleep. Tomorrow will be a new and happy beginning!

Day 3 Yuhuan Hotel → Dongsha Fishing Village → Shanghai
All day
Around 08:00 in the morning, get up and go out to find a local breakfast. Filling your stomach is the highest etiquette for hiking!
Around 8:30 AM, we'll head to Dongsha Fishing Village. This village, nestled among the mountains, is known as the "Potala Palace on the Sea." Ascending to the summit, we'll see islands like Jishan and Dalu scattered across the sea, with stacked houses stretching out one after another. This isn't Taiwan, but it possesses a cape-like charm reminiscent of Kenting.
Take a leisurely stroll through this hidden fishing village. Roadside flowers sway gently in the breeze, a lazy cat yawns by the doorway, freshly caught fish and shrimp hop around, grandmas and grandpa bask in the sun and bicker, and waves quietly lap against the cliffs. Time freezes here, as if transported back to a leisurely childhood. At the end, the Pu'an Lighthouse quietly watches over, a haven of peace and tranquility.
Around 11:00, we headed to Xiqing Street in Yuhuan City, an old street with a charming atmosphere in the heart of Yuhuan City, filled with rich southern Fujian style. We shopped and ate here, bringing a happy holiday in Yuhuan to a perfect end.
Around 14:00, we got on the bus, said goodbye to Yuhuan, and gathered to return to Shanghai.
We arrived in Shanghai around 20:00. Everyone was reluctant to leave and kissed goodbye with tears in their eyes!
