07:15

From 07:15 to 07:30, we will gather at the designated location of China-TravelNote for check-in. We will depart on time at 07:30, and the tour leader will interact with everyone along the way, making everyone laugh and chat.

10:30

Arrive at Yuhang Pingyao Old Street. Once a bustling neighborhood in the 1980s, this area retains a significant portion of its architecture, giving it a distinctly retro feel. A library, cinema, supply and marketing cooperative, and grain depot are all part of the street. Built along the river, the street is home to numerous antique shops, art galleries, and a wealth of vintage folk collections. The old street is renowned for its intangible cultural heritage, with museums like the Ceramics Museum, Paper Umbrella Museum, Jade Carving Museum, and Lantern Museum offering visitors a chance to explore. You can also walk along the ancient plank road carved by kilns and experience the passage of time.

12:45

After our shopping and dining, we gathered by bus and headed to Qingshan Village. This village exemplifies the fusion of traditional Chinese culture and village architecture. We strolled through the village, then leisurely journeyed along bamboo paths. Passing Yanziwu Reservoir, we reached the summit, where the tranquil, blue Longwu Lake unfolded before us, a breathtaking sight. We then descended to the Longwu Observation Deck, where we took plenty of photos before returning to our starting point.

Those who don't want to hike can take a leisurely stroll through the art village, where you can check out attractions like the Rong Design Library, the Frog-themed garden, Qingshan Ecological Green Space, and Houwu Modern Art Design!

4:30 PM

As the sun sets, we gather and board the bus for the return journey.

7:30 PM

When we arrived at the meeting point in Shanghai, everyone was reluctant to leave and kissed goodbye with tears in their eyes.

Driving time: Shanghai to Yuhang, about 3.5 hours.

Hiking: 4.5km hike, climbing about 150m.

Surrounded by mountains and water, with a spacious hall and a dragon throne facing south, Qingshan Village is a place of great feng shui. From an aerial perspective, Qingshan Village, located in the northwest corner of Yuhang District, is surrounded by mountains on three sides. Village houses are scattered along a Y-shaped country road, and mountain streams flow east and west, forming two natural reservoirs, providing a perfect balance of resources. For centuries, Qingshan Village has been as peaceful as a quaint paradise, its pace seemingly unchanging.

The Pingyao Old Street Traditional Style Model Area is located at the southern foot of Yaoshan Mountain and the northern bank of Tiaoxi River, adjacent to the west gate of the Liangzhu Ancient City Ruins Park. The project focuses on the old street's traditional character and historical memory. Through a model of "government guidance, enterprise participation, and multi-faceted co-construction," the project, jointly funded with district-owned state-owned enterprises to establish a construction company responsible for renovation and improvement, and collaborates with private capital to promote the sustainable operation of the area. Pingyao Old Street fully implements the "repair the old as it was" philosophy, revitalizing historic buildings and preserving historical relics such as the old cinema, the old cocoon station, and the old supply and marketing cooperative. Over 100 high-quality businesses have been introduced, creating an overall atmosphere that is both livable and tourist-friendly, blending the past with the present. The old cocoon station has been transformed into a silkworm museum showcasing sericulture culture. The old cinema has regained its former glory and become a vibrant venue for film culture exhibitions and public screenings. The Xinhua Bookstore has been transformed into a "living room" for guests and guests to enjoy. The 140-year-old Pingyao No. 1 Primary School has been transformed into a multifunctional, fun, and vibrant creative community featuring handicraft displays, trendy industrial design, and a maker kitchen.
