Baoshan, located in western Yunnan, has long been a key stop on the "Southern Silk Road," a major coffee-producing region in China, and boasts a history spanning over 2,000 years.

Qinglong Street in Banqiao Ancient Town, a key stop on the Southern Silk Road, is only 800 meters long, but it boasts a vibrant collection of Baoshan's local delicacies. Enjoy fresh meat buns, pounded chicken feet, grilled tofu, and traditional teahouses. Don't miss the intangible cultural heritage exhibits, such as armored horses, earthenware pottery, and rattan weaving.

Entering Nujiang Prefecture from Baoshan, we drove along the Nujiang River. The river churned through deep canyons, traversing the folds of the Hengduan Mountains, and embarked on a journey to explore the heartland of the Three Parallel Rivers.

丨First Encounter with Nujiang River/City of Memory Yunshang Zhiziluo

Passing through Liuku, the capital of Nujiang Prefecture, we journey deep into the Grand Canyon, taking in views of Gaoligong Mountain, Biluo Snow Mountain, and ethnic minority villages nestled among the white clouds. We'll first reach Tiger Leaping Gorge and experience the surging Nu River. We'll first visit the Nujiang Grand Canyon Pioneer Bookstore, overlooking the magnificent Nu River Gorge from mid-mountain. We'll then reach Zhiziluo, a city of memories along the Nujiang River, where we'll have some free time to explore the village and visit the Laomudeng Church. We'll then continue north along the Nujiang River to Stone Moon.

丨Deep into the Nu River/ Bingzhongluo, where humans and gods coexist

Afterwards, we'll drive to Bingzhongluo, following the mighty Nu River along the most beautiful highway. We'll first reach the First Bend of the Nu River, where the once-roaring river turns calmly and gracefully. On clear days, we'll also be able to see the Gawagap Snow Mountain (5,128 meters), the highest point in the Gaoligong Mountains. Continuing north, we'll explore pristine villages, explore the ancient Dulong people, and search for their mysterious face-tattooed women.

Bingzhongluo is a place where primitive totem worship, Lamaism, Catholicism, Christianity and other religions coexist and coexist, creating a religious wonder. Visit the three major religious buildings in Bingzhongluo: Chongding Village [Catholic Church], Dongfeng Village [Christian Church], and Tibetan Buddhist Temple [Puhua Temple].

丨My first visit to Bingchacha/The mysterious Yunnan-Tibet passage

We then crossed the impenetrable Shimen Pass, a steep cliff jutting from the banks of the Nu River. This is the Nu River's gorge and the final stop on the ancient Tea-Horse Road between the Nu River and Tibet. We visited Qiunatong, the northernmost village on the Nu River, nestled deep in the mountains and overlooking the gorge. Continuing north along the river, we journeyed through the 20-kilometer Bingchacha section of the Yunnan-Tibet New Crossing, traversing the treacherous Naqialuo Gorge to reach the Yunnan-Tibet border.

丨Visiting Wuli Village/Hiking on the Ancient Tea Horse Road

Afterward, return to Wuli Village and join a private guide for a leisurely hike along the "Living Ancient Tea-Horse Road," winding along the Nu River (approximately 2 kilometers/approximately 1 hour). After breakfast, we set off and bid farewell to Bingzhongluo. We drove on the Degong Highway from northwest Yunnan to the beautiful countryside. After crossing the Peacock Mountain, we went from the Nujiang River Basin to the Lancang River Basin. From canyons to snow-capped mountains, the unique natural scenery of the Three Parallel Rivers and the Hengduan Mountains changed freely during the journey.

丨 Peacock Mountain Light Hike/Exploring the Twelve Lakes of Tianxin

After breakfast, we'll depart Bingzhongluo and drive along the beautiful Degong Highway in northwest Yunnan, heading for Kongque Mountain. After reaching the Kongque Mountain Pass, we'll hike to explore the Twelve Lakes of Tianxin (5-6 km, approximately 3 hours, 3850-4150 meters above sea level). Walking across meadows and through dense forests, we'll encounter lakes of varying depths scattered between the meadows and forests, their vibrant colors creating a playful atmosphere. Against the backdrop of the Kongque Snow Mountain in the distance, it feels like entering a misty mountain range.

After arriving at the lake on the mountain, we returned to Kongque Mountain Pass. We then drove to Deqin to check in. Crossing Kongque Mountain, we journeyed from the Nujiang River basin to the Lancang River basin, experiencing the ever-changing natural scenery of the Three Parallel Rivers and the Hengduan Mountains, from canyons to snow-capped mountains.

Continue on to the Wunongding Snow Mountain Observation Deck, nestled against the backdrop of Baima Snow Mountain. After breakfast, we'll drive to Benzilan, a key town on the Ancient Tea Horse Road, and then to Moon Bay, the first bend of the Jinsha River. We'll pass through Nixi Township, renowned for its intangible cultural heritage earthenware, and sample a black clay chicken soup pot.

Then we will go to Shangri-La. Upon arrival, we will first go to Napahai and take a short drive around the lake. In spring and summer, you can see the vibrant plateau meadows; in autumn and winter, Napahai is the habitat of many migratory birds, and you will have the opportunity to observe these plateau elves from afar.

丨Dukezong Ancient Town/Wandering in the Moonlight City

Proceed to Dukezong Ancient Town. "Dukezong" is a Tibetan name meaning "Moonlight City" and "Castle Built on Stone." Built into the hillside, the ancient town's pavement follows the natural undulations of the terrain. Today is the end of the tour. We will transfer you to either Diqing Shangri-La Airport or Lijiang Sanyi International Airport, depending on your flight time.
