Tourists from all over the world will gather in Qingdao and check into their designated hotels. If you have more time, you can enjoy Qingdao's local culture at your own leisure. Please be safe during this free time. The tour leader will inform everyone of the meeting time the following morning.
Recommended things to do in Qingdao:
Qingdao is a city known for its beer-drinking and gala-eating food. "Gala" is the Qingdao pronunciation for clams, and from May to August, clams are at their plumpest. Families traveling with children shouldn't miss this local Qingdao experience.
Tsingtao Beer Museum: Located in the old Tsingtao Beer factory, here you can learn about the history and development of Tsingtao Beer. You can also exchange your ticket for a glass of Tsingtao Beer puree or pure draft beer. Open from 08:30 to 17:00, the recommended visit is 2 hours. Tickets can be purchased on Meituan.
Specially recommended to play: The museum's immersive script-killing game "The Awakening Brewer". The script of "The Awakening Brewer" is set in the Republic of China period. It combines script-killing + (Tsingtao Beer Museum) escape room + (Tsingtao Brewery) tours + interactive check-ins and other multiple experiences. You can solve puzzles while sightseeing, and the experience is maximized.
Zhanqiao: Qingdao's early military-use artificial wharf, it is a landmark building and a famous scenic spot in Qingdao. The octagonal building inside the breakwater at the south end is called "Huilan Pavilion." Standing here, you can enjoy the stunning scene of "Flying Pavilion Returning to the Waves," one of Qingdao's ten scenic spots. The north bank is called "Zhanqiao Park," which is lush with flowers and plants and has stone benches for tourists to relax and enjoy the sea and sky scenery. The train station is a 10-minute walk away.
Yingkou Road: Yingkou Road is a place on the tip of your tongue, where you can enjoy seafood and beer without any worries! When it comes to eating seafood and beer in Qingdao, Yingkou Road is definitely the place to go for economical and affordable food. The processing of imported materials is very affordable. In fact, Yingkou Road is not just about the Yingkou Road Market. Including the market, there are also some small shops around it, and of course, there are also the bustling beer houses around it. It is recommended to buy seafood at the farmers' market and take it to the beer house for processing and eating.
Day 2 Signal Hill Park → Governor's Mansion Museum → Qingdao Haichang Polar Ocean World

At 08:00, after breakfast, we gathered on the bus. The tour leader played games with the children and parents, and we got to know each other. This marked the beginning of our enjoyable trip.
Around 9:00 AM, we arrived at Signal Hill Park, named after the signal tower that once served as a navigational aid for ships. Signal Hill is 98 meters above sea level and can be reached in half an hour. The three red-roofed mushroom-shaped buildings on the summit are particularly eye-catching, and the revolving observation tower offers a 360-degree panoramic view of Qingdao's old city. On the southern slope of the hill is the Talang Observation Deck, a great spot for photographing the German-style guesthouse.
Around 10:00, you can walk to the [German Governor's House Museum]. Locals call it the "Little Palace" and "Guest House". This is a very beautiful German castle-style building with a wooden structure. You can still see the gorgeous interior furnishings today.

Around 2:00 PM, after lunch, we'll head to Qingdao Haichang Polar Ocean World to experience the flavors of the ocean, learn about science, and enjoy a fantastical adventure. Qingdao Polar Ocean World boasts 36 exhibition halls, with the Polar Marine Animal Hall at its core. It's the largest in China, boasting the most diverse and diverse collection of polar marine animals, and is a must-see in Qingdao.

In the evening, we went to the Country Garden Hotel in Haiyang Shili Golden Beach and checked into a sea view accommodation. Standing on the balcony, we looked out at the ten-mile beach in front of us. If it was early, we could go to the beach to play in the waves. There were also many dining options near the hotel.
Day 3 Ocean Ranch → Shendiaoshan Wildlife World → Dongpu Bay RV Camp

After breakfast, we will drive to the Ocean Ranch at 7:30 (2 hours drive) to explore the adorable sea cucumbers, abalone, scallops, oysters, and Echinoceros sea urchins in the ocean. We will then take a fishing boat to the offshore harvesting platform to fish and catch scallops, mussels, oysters and other delicious seafood by hand. The seafood you catch will release its authentic flavor after a simple steaming.
Have lunch at the ranch and watch the seafood you catch become delicious food on the table.

After lunch, head to Shendiaoshan Wildlife World (a 40-minute drive). This free-range coastal wildlife park, nestled between mountains and the coast, offers a close-to-natural habitat. Enjoy sweeping mountain and ocean views, accompanied by the roars of tigers and lions, the cries of monkeys, and the chirping of birds, a truly unforgettable experience.

After the tour, we went to the Dongpu Bay RV Campsite (40 minutes’ drive) to rest. The campsite embodies all the beautiful elements of Weihai: the rippling blue sea, the white and soft beach, the pine forest that stretches like waves, the children’s playground with rich themes, and the RVs where you can enjoy a poetic life. It presents a fresh, lively, simple and joyful coastal style. The campsite is very close to the beach, allowing you to fulfill your dream of staying by the sea. In the evening, you can enjoy seafood barbecue, games and fun activities, so that you can fully enjoy the beauty of the seaside night.
Day 4 Liugong Island → Weihai International Bathing Beach → Accommodation at Shanhai Ocean Star

After breakfast at 08:00, take a boat to the Liugong Island Scenic Area, known as the "Unsinkable Battleship" (35 minutes' drive), to dream of the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895 and be intoxicated by the wonderland on the sea.
Visit the Sino-Japanese War Museum with the theme of Beiyang Navy and the Sino-Japanese War, Liugong Island Expo Park, view the Wanghai Tower from afar, and see the sperm whale specimen.

At 12:00, lunch will be arranged with Weihai’s special Korean food. As a Chinese city close to South Korea, Weihai is a place where Koreans gather. You can eat authentic Korean food without going abroad.
After a restful afternoon, we continued along the coastal road to the Weihai International Bathing Beach. For children, the sea and the beach are synonymous with joy, and they never tire of playing in the water. Weihai, a livable city, boasts an impressively clear water. Enjoy the water activities, including speedboats, cruise ships, and motorboats. Everyone can play and play on the sand. The 20-kilometer-long beach boasts fine, soft sand, making it one of the finest beaches in northern China. The nearby popular check-in spot, Torch Eighth Street, is also a must-see!

Arrive at [Shanhai Ocean Star] in the evening (1 hour drive) and check in. This is the first equipped leisure-type ocean ranch complex in the country. Day 5: Free half day at leisure → Lonely Whale (Golden Beach Tourist Area) → Transfer to Yantai Station

This morning we will give you plenty of free time. You don’t have to get up early, so you can relax and enjoy life with the sea. You can play and visit with your children and experience all kinds of interesting things together at the Heart of the Ocean.
Depart for lunch at 11:00 and depart for Golden Beach Tourist Area at 12:30 (35 minutes by car)
Blue sky and white clouds, sunny waves, city landmarks, roaming the coastline of Golden Beach Tourist Resort, there are beautiful scenery everywhere.
At Housha Square, walk onto the Wangjiao Corridor Bridge that extends into the sea. The scene of the crashing waves is right under your feet, giving you an extraordinary experience of watching the sea.
Take a photo with the "Deep Breath" whale sculpture at Golden Beach Park.
