Day 1 Wuxi → Fuyang → Xianren Cave → Wuxi
07:00
Meet and sign in at Exit 11A of Wuxi Sanyang Square Subway Station (in front of Yunfu Building on Zhongshan Road), and board the bus for departure at 07:15. The tour leader will introduce the tourists to each other, explain the itinerary, and play interactive games, so you can enjoy the journey to your destination with laughter and joy.
11:00
We walked along the village road, and after about 1 kilometer we arrived at the reservoir at the entrance of the valley and began to climb slowly. The bamboo forest shaded the way, making the walk easy and pleasant. We climbed about 150 meters after hiking for about 1 kilometer.
11:30
To start the climbing mode of this trip, you need to climb a steep slope of about 100 meters, continue forward past a pavilion, and come to the karst stone forest in front of Baiyun Temple. Although this stone forest is small in scale, it is quite distinctive. You can check in and take photos, and then have lunch at Baiyun Temple.
1:30 PM
We headed to the Fairy Cave behind Baiyun Temple, the ultimate caving experience. Bring your helmet, headlamp, and gloves. Knee pads and kneepads (harder ones are preferred) are highly recommended, and we began caving. We first descended a short distance to a spacious cavern hall, where we could take photos. Then, after descending a steep slope, we began our wild climbing and caving adventure. You'll need to use your hands and feet, moving slowly sideways through narrow passages. The smallest caves require you to crawl through them (the final section is a round-trip route, so you can skip this section).
4:30 PM
We returned to the cave entrance, walked down the mountain together to the pick-up point, and took the same bus back to Wuxi.
9:00 PM
Back in Wuxi, everyone was still reluctant to leave and said goodbye with tears in their eyes.
Special Tips:
1. The cave is damp and cold, even in summer, so please keep warm. There are many bats in the cave, so if you are afraid of them, please be careful when registering.
2. A headlamp and flashlight are required (phone flashlights or apps are not acceptable). Entering the cave without one is prohibited. A whistle is acceptable, and walkie-talkies are strongly recommended for communication with the team leader in case of an emergency.
3. The depth of the cave depends on the overall speed of the day, the level of the team members, the number of people in the cave, etc. Please follow the team leader's arrangements for specific details.
4. The light inside the cave is very dim, there is no mobile phone signal, no GPS signal, no satellite signal, and there are many forks in the road, making it very easy to get lost. It is strictly forbidden to leave the group without permission!!!
