Day 1 Shenyang★Gathering Day
All day
On the day of the full-day activity, you will travel to Shenyang on your own. Upon arrival at the hotel, please provide your "China-Travel Note + Name" to check in. Tourists arriving early will have the whole day free to move around.
Recommended travel:
1. Shenyang Imperial Palace – Central Street – Marshal Zhang’s Mansion – September 18th Historical Museum – Industrial Museum of China – West Tower Korean Style Street – Liaoning Provincial Museum – Liu Laogen Grand Stage
Urban transportation:
1. Airport arrival: 30km from the city center. You can take the airport bus or taxi to the meeting hotel (24-hour taxi service, safe and secure)
2. Train Arrival: Shenyang Station and Shenyang North Station both have subways and are located in the city, making it very convenient to reach the hotel.
Day 2 Shenyang → Laobiangou → Huanren

We set off after breakfast. With the enthusiastic interaction of the tour guide and the team leader, tourists from all over the world quickly became familiar with each other and started their autumn journey.
This morning, we arrived at Laobiangou, a hidden gem in Liaodong for autumn viewing. Compared to the more famous Guanmen Mountain, this spot boasts fewer visitors. The maple forests are ablaze, a vibrant spectacle. The leaves here range from emerald green to golden yellow, fiery red to rosy crimson. Walking through the mountain valleys feels like stepping into a kingdom of color. China-TravelNote has allocated ample time for creative photography, and photography enthusiasts can also bring a drone.
After enjoying the fun, we'll continue on to the most beautiful autumn highway in Liaodong (also known as the China Maple Leaf Avenue): Benhuan Highway. Wild maple trees line the winding road, offering a unique view of the vibrant autumn colors from every angle. Arrive in Huanren City in the evening and check in.
Day 3 Huanren → Tianqiaogou → Kuandian

After breakfast, we'll depart for Tianqiaogou National Forest Park. While less famous and less visited than Guanmenshan, Tianqiaogou boasts equally stunning autumn scenery. The mountains are tranquil and shady, with springs flowing through streams and vibrant autumn leaves blanketing the landscape. After a satisfying visit, we'll depart and head to Kuandian County for the night.
Kind tips:
1. The maple leaf viewing season is usually from late September to mid-October. If the official maple leaf index does not reach "Level II" or above due to weather conditions, we will adjust our tour to [Wunv Mountain in Huanren].
Day 4 Kuandian → Hekou Scenic Area → Broken Bridge of Yalu River → Dandong

Depart after breakfast and arrive at the Hekou Scenic Area in the morning. First, take a small train to enjoy the mountain and water scenery of the mysterious country (North Korea) on the other side and check in at the Dandong National Gate. After that, take a cruise to tour the Yalu River. You can visit the Qingshui Industrial Zone, the Korean People’s Army, North Korean people, North Korean villages, hospitals, sentries, etc. up close, and explore the curious and mysterious North Korea.

After having fun, we continued along the Yalu River. There were many viewing platforms along the way where we could stop to take pictures and enjoy the scenery on both sides of the Yalu River.
In the afternoon, we'll check out the Broken Yalu River Bridge. During the Korean War, two bridges across the Yalu River served as vital arteries for my country's support of the North Korean front. The invading US military repeatedly bombed the bridges. In November 1950, the first bridge was destroyed, leaving the four-arch remnant, known as the "Broken Yalu River Bridge," to this day. Next to it is the Sino-Korean Friendship Bridge, a dual-use bridge for both cars and trains.
After having fun, return to the hotel to check in and then you can explore freely. Dandong is located at the mouth of the Yalu River. Autumn is also the season for Dandong's plump yellow clams. Or you can find a Korean song and dance restaurant to experience a different style. After dinner, you can go to Yalu River Park to enjoy the beautiful night view of the river.
Day 5 Dandong → Red Beach → Panjin

After breakfast, depart for Panjin's Red Beach National Scenic Corridor. Located at the mouth of the Liaohe River, it boasts one of the world's most well-preserved natural red beaches. Featuring the world's rare and renowned red beach, the vast coastal mudflats seamlessly blend natural and cultural landscapes, presenting a magnificent and beautiful scene.
After the tour, return to Panjin city to check in and rest. September and October are also the season for Panjin rice field crabs. Because they grow in saline-alkali rice paddies, their meat is firmer and more delicious. Tourists can also explore on their own in the evening.
Departure on the day:
1. You are expected to arrive in Panjin City at 6:00 PM on the same day. There are high-speed trains/bullet trains from Panjin Station to Beijing, Shenyang, Dalian, Yingkou, and other cities. Transfer flights are available through these areas. We recommend booking a same-day ticket for a train departing after 7:00 PM.
2. If you are leaving the group on the same day, please note "Not staying in Panjin" when placing an order
Day 6 Panjin → Shenyang ★ Disbandment Day
All day
After breakfast, we will depart for Shenyang Taoxian Airport and disband. We are expected to arrive at the airport at 11:30, thus ending our pleasant autumn viewing trip.
Return trip tips:
1. Return to Shenyang Airport: Depart in the morning with the group bus, expected arrival time is 11:30, it is recommended to book a flight after 13:30;
2. Return from Yingkou Airport: Yingkou Airport has direct flights to Shanghai/Nanjing. You can go to the airport on your own according to your flight schedule (the hotel is about 100km from the airport, and you can take a 30-minute high-speed train from Panjin to Yingkou).
3. Return to Dalian Airport: There are many direct flights from Dalian to major domestic cities. On the same day, you can take the bullet train/high-speed rail from Panjin (about 1.5 hours) according to your flight schedule to transfer to Dalian.
