On the day of the full-day activity, you will travel to Changchun City on your own. Upon arrival at the hotel, please provide your "China-Travel Note + Name" to check in. Tourists arriving early will have the whole day free to move around.

1. Intercity: There is a high-speed rail station inside the airport (Longjia Station, business hours 7:00-20:00). It is about a 15-minute walk from the arrival hall to the station.
2. Airport bus/online taxi: Changchun Longjia Airport is about 35 km away from the city center
Day 2 Changchun → Sifangdingzi Mountain → Diaoshuihu Waterfall → Baishan

After breakfast, depart for Jilin's Longwan National Forest Park. Located in the middle section of the Longgang Mountains within the Changbai Mountain Range, this area boasts the densest concentration of volcanic lakes in my country, each with its own unique beauty. The park boasts not only volcanic lakes but also numerous cascading springs and waterfalls, with Diaoshuihu Waterfall being particularly stunning.
First, head to Sifangdingzi Mountain, the highest peak in Huinan County (1,233 meters). Its climate creates a unique paradise of dead trees. In autumn, red maple, birch, and red pine trees weave a vibrant, vibrant forest. A herd of sika deer also inhabits the forest. If you're lucky, you might spot them leisurely strolling, foraging, and playing, adding a vibrant touch to Sifangdingzi's autumn scenery.

After lunch, we'll visit the Diaoshuihu Waterfall, nestled between a vibrant forest cliff face, resembling an inverted kettle spouting sweet rain, earning it the nickname "Diaoshuihu." The water, originating from a mineral spring 2,600 meters below, maintains a constant temperature of 7°C. Standing before the falls and watching the mist emanate from its gushing water is a breathtaking sight. After enjoying our visit, we'll transfer to Baishan city for overnight stay.
Day 3: Baishan Mountain → Huashan Valley → Lushui River

After breakfast, we'll set off to explore the hidden gem of Huashan Valley, a high alpine meadow nestled in the Changbai Mountains. Its rich forest vegetation makes the autumn colors here particularly captivating, and among the many hues, the vibrant red of the maples stands out. This morning, we'll take a light autumn hike, strolling through the meadows, admiring the vibrant colors. You'll also often spot herds of cattle and sheep lazily basking in the sun.

After enjoying the fun, we'll depart for Lushuihe National Forest Park, another rarely visited autumn viewing destination. This hidden gem nestled within the primeval forests of Changbai Mountain boasts a rare and pristine Korean pine forest. Strolling along the leaf-filled plank paths feels like stepping into a fairytale. In the afternoon, we'll also experience jungle rafting, offering a unique way to enjoy autumn.
Day 4 Lushui River → Changbai Mountain North Slope Scenic Area → Erdaobaihe Town

After breakfast, we will head to the beautiful and mysterious Changbai Mountain, also known as Baitou Mountain, which means "stay together until old age". It is a dormant volcano on the China-North Korea border.
China-TravelNote arranges a visit to the Changbai Mountain North Slope Scenic Area. We'll first take a scenic shuttle bus to the Tianchi Transfer Station, then transfer to the Tianchi Return Bus to reach the main peak. Admire the mysterious Changbai Mountain Tianchi Lake and, with luck, enjoy the magnificent scenery beneath a blue sky and white clouds! After the Tianchi tour, we'll head to the Green Abyss Pond, where the turquoise waters are reminiscent of the waters of Jiuzhaigou. On one side of the pond, nestled within a forest, a stream cascades down the cliffs into a small waterfall, cascading directly into the deep emerald pool—a must-see photo opportunity! We'll then head to the Changbai Mountain Waterfall, home to the renowned Julong Hot Springs, where steaming hot springs perpetually rise and shroud the area in mist, winter and summer alike! Continue to the bottom to reach the world's largest crater lake waterfall. Afterwards, continue exploring the underground forest to experience the wonders and unique charm of nature.
Arrive at Erdaobaihe Hotel in the evening to rest. There is also a hot spring pool in the hotel (please bring your own swimsuit) where you can relax in the warm spring water.
Updated on September 22nd: Due to changes in the ticket policy of Changbai Mountain Scenic Area, the Changbai Autumn Charm 9.30, 10.2 and 10.3 batches of Changbai Mountain tickets are sold out. Currently, you can only waitlist. You may not be able to get a place on the waitlist or your time may be different from that of the large group. If you are sure there is no problem, you can pay.
Kind tips:
1. If you enter the Changbai Mountain North Slope Scenic Area and the Tianchi Lake is temporarily closed due to weather conditions, we will adjust your visit to other attractions in the scenic area. Please understand!
2. If the Changbai Mountain North Slope Scenic Area is closed due to weather reasons, China-TravelNote will arrange a light hike in the Ginseng Forest Autumn Scenery and an Edelweiss Reindeer Park instead.
Day 5 Erdaobaihe Town → Pumice Forest → Yanji → Hunchun

After breakfast, we will head to the Pumice Forest, a secret canyon formed by volcanic activity. We will first ascend to the top of the observation tower to overlook the pristine forest. If the weather is clear, we can also see the main peak of Changbai Mountain. We will then wander through the canyon washed by volcanic lava, admiring the pristine canyon scenery along the way. On both sides are scattered white birch and red pine trees, and moss-covered black volcanic rocks... Afterwards, we will head to the "First Spring at the Foot of Changbai Mountain" for a special tea-making party around the stove. While sipping tea, we will listen to the sound of the spring water and enjoy the wonderful time in the forest.

In the afternoon, we will take a "retro Ding Ding car" to start a half-day folk tour!
Itinerary View:
First stop: Renxin Folk Museum (listen to a small folk instrument concert and taste traditional Korean tea)
Second stop: Take a tram ride and interact with the inheritors of the Korean intangible cultural heritage.
Third stop: Chinese Korean Folk Customs Park (explore the customs and stories of the ancient village and learn about people's livelihood and entertainment)
The fourth stop: Visit hundreds of acres of fertile fields, attend a rice culture sharing session, and stroll through the characteristic town to find traces of the Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army.
Stop 5: Check in at Yanbian University and the Internet celebrity wall
A quick overview of the dangdang tram: The interior features a wooden carriage, interior lighting framed by Korean straw hats, wooden screens, and a Korean-style kang (kang). Onboard, you'll also enjoy a fascinating intangible cultural heritage performance: a Korean aunt sings the ancient ballad "Arirang," accompanied by Korean instruments like the janggu, tambourine, and gayageum. The dangdang tram stops and starts along the way, weaving through the streets and alleys!
After enjoying the fun, we'll depart for Hunchun (located at the junction of China, North Korea, and Russia), passing through Tumen Port, my country's second-largest land border crossing with North Korea. You can also bring binoculars to observe patrolling soldiers and passersby, and learn more about this mysterious country.
As Hunchun is a seafood distribution center in northern China, it receives a large amount of king crab and other seafood from Russia. This makes Hunchun one of the few places in China where you can enjoy king crab and other seafood at a very reasonable price. After checking into your hotel, you will have free time to explore.
Kind tips:
1. If you do not have time to visit Tumen Port on the same day due to traffic jams or other reasons, the visit will be postponed to the morning of the sixth day. Thank you for your understanding.
2. The harvest of the Hundred Acres of Farmland will be completed around National Day and will be moved to the Yanbian Museum (the museum is closed on Mondays), which will not affect the overall experience.
Day 6 Hunchun → Fangchuan → Yanji → Changchun Longjia Airport ★ Disbandment Day

After breakfast, we will depart for Hunchun Fangchuan Scenic Area in the morning. Fangchuan is located at the junction of China, North Korea and Russia. When the weather is clear, you can climb up to the Guanhai Tower and have a panoramic view. You can not only see the three countries at a glance, but also the Tumen River estuary.
After having fun, we will arrive at Yanji West Station at 13:00 and then go to Changchun Longjia Airport. We will be dropped off at the airport at 17:30, thus ending our pleasant autumn trip.
Disbandment in Yanji:
1. Airplane: Depart from Yanji Chaoyangchuan International Airport (Yanji West Station is 5km away from the airport). There are direct flights from Yanji to some cities. It is recommended to book flights after 15:00.
2. Train: There are many high-speed trains from Yanji West Station to Longjia Station (Changchun Longjia Airport) (or to Shenyang/Harbin). It is recommended to buy a ticket after 2:00 PM (reference train number: Yanji West - Longjia Station C1020 14:09-16:22). After arriving at the airport, try to leave at least 2 hours to ensure boarding time);
Changchun Disbandment:
1. Airplane: Estimated arrival time at Changchun Longjia International Airport is 17:30. We recommend booking a flight after 19:30.
