Day 1 Chongqing → Pingwu Paxijia Ancient Village → Jiuzhaigou

Meet at Exit 3B of Jiazhou Road Station, Chongqing Metro Line 3, between 7:30 and 7:50 in the morning. Depart at 8:00 on time. Please do not be late.
We got to know each other on the bus and left the mountain city amidst laughter and joy, arriving at [Paxijia Ancient Village] in Pingwu, Mianyang. We strolled along the stone paths of the ancient village to relieve the fatigue of the bus ride, and strolled along the shores of Tianmu Lake. The clear blue water reflected the fireworks rising from the Tibetan houses, which was a soothing sight.
Later in the day, we will continue our journey to Zhangza Town, the entrance of Jiuzhaigou Valley, and check into the hotel to acclimate to the altitude change and rest early to reserve energy for the next day's trip to Jiuzhaigou.
Tips: When you first arrive at the plateau, try to slow down and avoid strenuous exercise. Eat until you are 70% full, do not shower, and sleep with a window open.

Day 2 Jiuzhaigou full day tour

After breakfast, we'll depart for the Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, a fairytale wonderland. After entering the area, we'll board a sightseeing bus for a full day of leisurely exploration. Jiuzhaigou's main valley is a "Y"-shaped ravine, consisting of three valleys and stretching over 50 kilometers.
Shuzheng Valley: Shuzheng Waterfall is the first waterfall complex in Jiuzhaigou. Dozens of lakes stretch for 7 kilometers, with multiple steps leading up to the waterfall. The mysterious Sparkling Lake, where wind-driven waves create a dazzling display of golden "sparks," is also a popular attraction. Other scenic spots include Rhinoceros Lake and Wolong Lake.
The Pearl Beach in Rize Valley resembles a vast, glittering curtain, creating the sensation of stepping on rolling silver flowers and embracing a vast expanse of pearls. Five-Flower Lake is the pride of Jiuzhaigou, earning the reputation of being both the "essence of Jiuzhaigou" and "the unique wonder of Jiuzhaigou."
Return to the visitor center gate around 17:00 in the afternoon
Day 3 Jiuzhaigou → Huanglong Scenic Area → Chuanzhusi/Songpan

We'll depart early to the Huanglong Scenic Area, known as the "Fairyland on Earth." Huanglong is at a high altitude, so the hike should be tailored to your physical fitness. We'll walk to the Five Color Pools, where countless pools, large and small, resemble a palette filled with vibrant colors, dazzling in the sunlight and breathtaking. Along the way, we'll admire the Welcoming Pool, the cascading waterfalls, the Washing Cave, the Bonsai Pond, and the Huanglong Temple. After our visit, we'll check in at Chuanzhu Temple or a hotel in Songpan Ancient City in the evening.
You can stroll around the ancient city at night and experience the night view of the ancient city.

You can choose the tour method that suits you according to your own situation. Warm reminder: Huanglong Scenic Area is 3000-3600 meters above sea level, and the tour time is 2.5-4 hours
Note: Cableway is closed in winter (-3.31)
4th Tianchuan Main Temple/Songpan → Maoxian → Chongqing

After breakfast, we will continue along the main thoroughfare of northern Sichuan, passing Diexi and heading to Maoxian. From June to August, this area is known for its abundant fruits. Interested friends can stop by to sample the local seasonal fruits.
After a leisurely stroll and a rest, we will return
to Chongqing on the highway. The trip will conclude around 8:00 PM.
Tips: Traffic jams are common on mountain roads in western Sichuan, and it's difficult to predict the time you'll return to Chongqing. If you need to take a flight or high-speed rail that day, it's recommended to book a flight after 22:00.
