Day 1 Shanghai → Jinhua → Panqian Village

All day

[Heading to Beishan: 07:15 - 12:00]

07:15-07:30 Gather at the designated location of China-TravelNote

We set off on time at 07:30. The tour leader will explain the itinerary and provide interactive introductions along the way, creating a lot of laughter and fun along the way. We will stop at service areas at appropriate times along the way to give everyone time to refuel and eat.

Around 12:00, we arrived at Jiulong Village, the starting point of the hike. We had lunch in time and then went up the mountain.

Hiking: 1:00 PM - 5:30 PM

Around 13:00, we started our hike from Jiulong Village. The starting point passed by a mine known as the Jinhua version of "Little Iceland." We could stop and take photos (we didn't enter the scenic area, but were just looking out over Little Iceland).

Around 2:00 PM, we walked up along the ridgeline. The route was very pristine, with many strange rocks to explore. Let's breathe in the natural oxygen as we walked!

Around 16:00, we arrived at the highest point and looked down upon the other mountains. After a short pause, we followed the plank road through the primeval forest, which felt quite like Shennongjia.

Around 17:30, the bus picked us up at the end of the day's hike and took us to our accommodation for the night - Panqian Village (about 5-10 minutes by car). After a short rest and checking in, we waited for the sunset to arrive.

[Drunk Sunset: 18:30 - Falling asleep]

Around 18:30, night fell and the sunset was intoxicating. After the hiking challenge, we also needed a delicious farmhouse meal to fill our stomachs.

Around 19:30, after dinner, you can meet up for a group chat, but be sure to rest and recharge your batteries for tomorrow's sunrise and hike.

Driving time: Shanghai to Jinhua about 4.5 hours

Hiking: about 10km, with a total ascent of about 1000m

Day 2 Panqian Village → Dapanjian → Hongyanjiao → Shanghai

All day

Sunrise Romance: 05:00 - 08:00

For early risers, we can head to the top of Dapanjian Mountain to enjoy a romantic sunrise. (The sunrise will also depend on the weather conditions of the day, and our tour leader will adjust the itinerary appropriately.)

After watching the sunrise, we can return to the village for breakfast.

[1314 Romance: 08:00 - 13:30]

Around 08:00, after getting up and having breakfast, we set off towards the summit of Beishan Mountain - Dapanjian under the leadership of our team leader.

Around 10:00, we arrived at the Dapanjian commanding heights, which is 1,314 meters above sea level, adding a touch of romance and ritual to our journey.

Around 11:00, we descended from Dapan Mountain (remember to bring knee pads). The mountain road was full of negative ions. We passed by streams all the way and reached Beishan Waterfall! The magnificent waterfall stood before us, and everyone was free to check in. Afterwards, we found a rest area and prepared a lunch.

Around 12:00, after lunch, we continued to descend. The original ancient road would hide a small Easter egg - a thousand-year-old stone Buddha statue. We can see the superb carving art of mankind and feel people's respect for Buddha statues.

Return: 13:30-18:00

Around 1:30 PM, we arrived at the foot of Hongyan Mountain, marking the end of our two-day, one-night trip to the summit of Beishan Mountain. We then headed to the restaurant for a shared dinner to celebrate our journey. Afterward, we refreshed ourselves before returning to Shanghai.

Around 20:00, we returned to our departure point in Shanghai. Everyone was reluctant to leave and kissed goodbye with tears in their eyes!!!

Driving time: Jinhua to Shanghai about 4.5 hours

Hiking: About 12km, with a total ascent of about 300m and a descent of 1000m

1.Why didn’t I receive a text message notification after registering?

2. What if it rains during the event?

2-3 days before the event, we will decide whether the event will proceed as scheduled based on the weather forecast and route conditions. Please pay attention to our notifications. Most activities can proceed as usual even if there is light rain. There is still fun to be had on rainy days. If heavy rain is forecast, the event will be cancelled and a full refund will be given to everyone.

3. Is this route crowded?

Most of our routes are natural and niche, with relatively small traffic. Of course, it also depends on the registration situation for each period. Generally, ordinary models are 37-seat buses, and a few large models are 53-seat. Each car has a certain proportion of tour leaders to ensure the quality of the event.

Jinhua Mountain, located north of the ancient city of Wuzhou, is not an isolated peak but a majestic mountain range stretching for dozens of kilometers across five counties (cities and districts): Wucheng, Jindong, Lanxi, Yiwu, and Pujiang. It is known as the "Mother Mountain" of Jinhua.

Jinhua Mountain has been a renowned mountain in eastern China since ancient times. Ever since Huang Chuping of the Eastern Jin Dynasty famously turned a rock into a sheep, Jinhua Mountain has been shrouded in mystery. Since then, countless celebrities and scholars have visited, blending Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism into one, imbuing Jinhua Mountain with a rich and mysterious cultural heritage. Its towering peaks, vast rivers, mountain fruits, and cave stalactites all speak to the mountain's mystique and romance, and legends abound.
