Arriving in Xinchang County, we set out on foot and went all the way down to the valley bottom.
At this time, a huge "boot" appeared in front of us. The canyon was deep and the clear water flowed down the stream.

We will find a scenic spot to have lunch (in case of traffic congestion during holidays, we will have lunch at a service area)

Passing through villages and farmlands, a wonderful [Omega Bend] emerges, a bit like the Moon Bay on the Jinsha River in Yunnan. Although it is not as large, it is also very imposing.
Then we go along the Hanfei River, which is full of Danxia and red rocks, with towering cliffs and undulating waves. There is a deep canyon thousands of feet deep between the two peaks. The scenery is breathtaking. We arrive at the Omega Big Bend in Xinchang, where the Hanfei River winds through, which is quite spectacular.

Day 2 Xinchang County → Anshan Ancient Road → Meizhu Ancient Village → Shanghai

After breakfast, we will drive to the starting point of the hike.

Arrived near Anshan Village. This village deep in the mountains is no longer as lively as it used to be.
Here, you seem to be able to touch the years that have accumulated on the ancient road and feel the tranquility and remoteness.
As you set foot on the ancient path, you'll be accompanied by cliffs and clear springs. The deep blue yet crystal clear stream is a refreshing sight.
Not long after walking, the Feilong Waterfall came into view. It cascaded down, and the air was filled with water vapor, making people feel as if they were in a magnificent landscape painting.
After admiring the majesty of the waterfall, we turned back and walked along the flat road, stepping onto the stone steps and dirt road, passing through the tea fields.
Along the way, the stream gurgles, the ancient bridge lies leisurely, and as you walk and stop, your eyes are filled with green, fresh and beautiful.
The clear springs in the mountains and the pebbles on the shore complement each other and are pleasing to the eye.
On the way, we encountered the ancient pebble bridge "Golden Lock", where bluestone steps and mountain paths alternated, accompanied by mountains and rivers.
The unique Danxia landform and the crystal clear stream complement each other. The winding and beautiful scenery is like a moving poem, telling the poetic and picturesque beauty of this land.

Get on the bus and head to Meizhu Village, a village with 600 years of history, to immerse yourself in the history of the ancient village:
Stroll through the streets of the ancient village and admire the well-preserved Ming and Qing Dynasty buildings such as "Jiutai Gate" and "Xia Miaotai Gate". Take a closer look at the exquisite brick carvings on the gatehouse and the lifelike ox-leg wood carvings between the beams. Every detail is engraved with the mark of history.
Visit the old houses deep in the ancient village. The courtyards paved with bluestone, mottled horse-head walls, and carved window lattices fully demonstrate the gentle elegance of the ancient villages in the south of the Yangtze River.
Check in at the "Ancient Village Cafe" and order a cup of Xinchang Dafo Longjing tea in the space transformed from an old house, and quietly feel the tranquility and comfort of the ancient village.
