The mountain bears an inscription by He Shu'e, the county magistrate during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, which translates as "a fairyland of steaming clouds and shimmering mists." The scenery is breathtaking. Shenxianju boasts a unique geological structure, a rare cluster of volcanic rhyolite landforms in the world. Every mountain, river, cliff, cave, rock, and peak is unique, forming six remarkable sights: Guanyin, Tathagata, Tianmu Peak, Sea of Clouds, Waterfall, and Tadpole Script. Shenxianju Scenic Area is divided into two sections: South Sea and North Sea. Hepu Island, the largest island in Ningbo, boasts a rich history. According to the Xiangshan County Chronicles of the Republic of China, it belonged to Taizhou Prefecture in the third year of the Sui Dynasty's Kaiyuan reign, Mingzhou Prefecture during the Tang Dynasty's Shenlong reign, and was closed to the public in the seventh year of the Ming Dynasty's Hongwu reign to prevent Japanese invasions. Reclamation was permitted in the fifth year of the Guangxu reign, gradually developing into a hub for the north-south sea route.
Dasha Village boasts breathtaking mountain scenery. Its geological structure forms the anticline portion of the South China Block. The mountains are low in elevation, but steep, boasting lush vegetation, with over 90% forest coverage. The majestic atmosphere is characterized by towering peaks and secluded valleys. The hillsides and valleys are dotted with camphor, cypress, and pine trees, creating a lush, natural oxygen bar. Dasha offers stunning sea views. Its crescent-shaped beach is flat and fine, free of impurities and mud, making it fall away easily. The pristine waters, with a rock-free bottom, are known for their beauty, known as "a sheet of snow when the tide comes in, a sheet of gold when the tide goes out." Walking on the sand and playing in the waves is a truly enchanting experience. The scenery here is breathtaking, with the distant mountains azure, the nearby hills dripping with emerald green, and the cliffs jutting into the sky, each with its own unique shape and form. It's truly a breathtaking scenery. Outside the harbor, the waves roar like thunder, and the boats sail by like shuttles. At night, fishing fires flicker, and in the morning, the sun rises in the east, creating a scene of "the vast sea, the shore." Inside the harbor, the waves ripple, and the crescent-shaped beach nestled against the mountain creates a natural swimming spot.
