Arrived at the starting point of Yakou Village at about 9:30, packed up briefly, and set off after warming up.

9:00 Climb the mountain from Yakou Village, walking along the gentle cement road towards the mountain

10:00 Arrive at Yitiantian and start climbing

11:00 Arrive at Xuanji Temple Thousand Buddha Caves for fun. You can check in at the cliff plank road. Those who are afraid of heights should not go there.

12:00 Dinner, the farmer has Hutu noodles, 10 yuan for a full meal (come and try something different from the big pot!)

13:00 After a rest, we set out through Tongtianjie and passed the boundary marker

14:00 Arrived at Fazhu Temple, another section of Lihu plank road

15:30 Arrive at Xianyang Temple and explore the thousand-year-old temple complex, and still experience the cliff plank road

16:40 Arrive at Yakou Village

16:40 Return to Zhengzhou

Arrived in Zhengzhou around 19:00, kissed goodbye with tears, and looked forward to the next trip

Hiking: A small loop of about 10 kilometers, with a maximum altitude of 714 meters and a climb of about 600 meters

Note: The route has more uphill climbs in the morning, which is a test of physical fitness.
It is suitable for first-time outdoor novice participants. Those with no experience but who usually run and exercise, are not overweight, and have basic equipment can sign up to participate.

In the fourth year of Heqing in the Northern Qi Dynasty (565), Xuanji Temple was expanded and statues were carved.

The White Deer Temple renovated the rock niche and built a stone chamber to store the Tripitaka

In the Tang Dynasty, Fazhu Temple and Xianyang Temple were built successively in the cliff niches on the east side of Bailu Temple.

Four Buddhist temples were formed in a strip among the curved cliffs on the south side of Bailu Mountain, which is less than 2 kilometers from east to west.


The Song-Jin War and the invasion of bandits in the late Ming Dynasty

Most of the temples were destroyed in the war.

However, these temples have preserved their architectural foundations and numerous cultural relics.

Among them, the Thousand Buddha Caves and statues of Xuanji Temple, the inscriptions of Bailu Temple

The stone pagoda components and stone carvings of Fazhu Temple and Xianyang Temple are the most typical

It constitutes the important connotation of Bailu Mountain Buddhist culture

It is one of the famous Buddhist holy places in the southern Taihang area.


This is also the place where ancient hermits practiced

There are even rumors that some people have become immortals here.

Legend has it that this plank road becomes more mysterious at night.

Only those who are pure and kind can see the guiding light in the darkness

Find the secret passage to the treasure

Attracting countless explorers and tourists to visit


This hiking route is full of legends and historical stories

The surrounding mountains are steep and the scenery is beautiful

Follow the trail up and then cross the steep Yitiantian
