Today is a full-day gathering day. Tourists from all over the country can choose their own transportation and arrive at the designated hotel in Chongqing to gather and report. After the room is arranged, you can choose to have free time.

Chongqing, known as the internet-famous "8D Magic City," offers countless photo-ops. Early arrivals can head to Graffiti Street for stunning photos and savor the traditional flavors of Jiaotong Teahouse. Alternatively, explore the area surrounding the iconic Jiefangbei Monument, take a bird's-eye view of the city, ride the Yangtze River Cableway for a bird's-eye view, ascend the WFC Huixian Tower for a close-up night view of the city, or take a Two Rivers Night Cruise and immerse yourself in the nightscape. Chongqing, a foodie paradise, is bustling with the aroma of spicy food, from Sichuan cuisine, Jianghu dishes, traditional hot pot, Chongqing noodles, hot and sour noodles, wontons, tofu rice, and skewers... Too spicy? Too spicy? A bottle of Shancheng Beer, a bottle of Weiyi, or a bowl of icy ice jelly or mung bean soup will instantly soothe the heat.

Day 2 Chongqing City → Wulong Tiankeng Difeng → → Tujia Ancient Village

After breakfast, we'll travel by bus to the Wulong Tiankeng and Difeng National Geopark. After lunch in Xiannv Town, we'll take the scenic area's eco-friendly shuttle bus to the park. We'll begin our "Movie Tour" (minimum 2.5 hours) at the Tiansheng Sanqiao entrance. We'll have the option of descending the tiankeng via elevator or walking. Along the way, we'll visit the glass viewing platform (at our own expense).

At an appropriate time, we'll transfer to the scenic area's shuttle bus to visit the Longshuixia Ground Fissure (a minimum of one hour). We'll then transfer to a small bus and proceed to the Tujia Ancient Village for check-in and an authentic Tujia dinner. After dinner, we'll enjoy the cool mountain breeze and the tranquility of the village's night. On clear days, we'll be able to see the Milky Way and the starry sky.

Note: There are long lines at the Tiansheng Sanqiao downstairs elevator, so we recommend walking down.
The Tiansheng Sanqiao exit battery car and glass viewing platform are optional, so please choose according to your needs and travel time.

Day 3: Rhino Ancient Village → Furong Cave → Ayi River → Gongtan Ancient Town

Awakened in the morning by the croaking of frogs amidst the chirping of birds and the fragrance of flowers, we arrive at this ancient village nestled above a karst cave. We can explore the caves, or perhaps even cultivate our inner peace and tranquility, fully immersing ourselves in the tranquility of this ancient mountain village. After lunch, we'll drive to Furong Cave, hailed as one of the "three greatest caves in the world." Its bizarre stalactite formations will surely make you reluctant to leave. We'll then take a short drive to the Ayi River, a fusion of mountains, water, forests, springs, and gorges, showcasing its grandeur, unique beauty, treacherous terrain, and secluded charm. Together, we'll explore the beauty of this charming "Ayi River." After our visit, we'll head to Gongtan Ancient Town. In the evening, we'll enjoy a stroll along the Wujiang River and free time to forage for food.

Day 4 Gongtan Ancient Town → Gongtan Wujiang River Ferry → Peach Blossom Spring → Zhuoshui Ancient Town

Wake up naturally in the morning. After breakfast, head to the pier and board the Wujiang River Gallery, exploring the emerald green landscapes of the Wujiang River. Enjoy lunch at your leisure, then drive to Taohuayuan, known as the "paradise on earth" described by Tao Yuanming. Visiting in April will allow you to experience the scenery depicted in Tao Yuanming's "Peach Blossom Spring." At that time, peach blossoms are in full bloom at the entrance of Dayu Cave, and Taohua Creek flows gently from the cave. Overnight in Zhuoshui Ancient Town.

Day 5: Zhuoshui Ancient Town → Qianjiang Puhua Underground River → Chongqing

In the morning, we'll drive to Qianjiang's Puhua Underground River and explore the scenic area (at least 1.5 hours). We'll take a boat trip to explore this natural cave. The scenery around us changes with the light, revealing a mysterious scene, giving us a sense of exploring the secrets of the cave. While it's hot outside, it's cool inside.

Drive back to Chongqing in time. Tourists who need to leave Chongqing on the same day can choose trains or flights after 20:00 in the evening; they can also choose to stay in the main city and continue their micro-tour in Chongqing.

Q: Does the route require hiking?

A: This route is more of a leisurely one, but Chongqing is mostly mountainous, so you'll need to walk a lot, mostly on steps or cobblestones. It's recommended to wear comfortable shoes for walking.

Question: I can’t eat spicy food. Will I have trouble adapting to the food here?

A: Chongqing cuisine tends to be spicy, oily, salty, and fresh. However, there are also non-spicy options, so you can choose according to your eating habits.

[Three Natural Bridges] The filming location for Zhang Yimou's film "Curse of the Golden Flower", one of the Chinese filming locations for "Transformers 4", a national AAAA-level scenic spot, a World Natural Heritage Site, the world's first-class natural bridge group, and the world's second largest tiankeng group.

Longshuixia Fissure: The Longshuixia Fissure Gorge, a key component of the Wulong Karst World Heritage Site, was formed tens of millions of years ago by orogenic movement and is a typical karst landscape. The gorge is 5 kilometers long, with a 2-kilometer tour, and 200-500 meters deep, creating a magnificent spectacle. The scenic area is exquisitely designed and boasts stunning scenery. Its deep gorges, steep cliffs, pristine vegetation, cascading waterfalls, and deep, swift pools are among its most iconic sights. The Yinhe Waterfall, Nine Beaches and Eighteen Pools, and Jiaolong Cold Cave are among its iconic landmarks. The scenic area's towering mountains, steep ridges, canyons, and flowing waters combine to create a breathtaking landscape.

Rhino Ancient Village is a well-preserved traditional Tujia village, nestled among a karst cave. A village with unique ethnic characteristics nestled within it, this secluded and pristine village boasts unique stilt-style wooden buildings nestled against the mountainside, their angled corners and eaves adorned with gurgling streams and shaded by lush bamboo. It feels like a paradise.

Furong Cave, known as a "rich cave science museum" and described by the president of the World Speleological Association as "one of the world's most visited caves," is a beautiful underground destination in China. On June 27, 2007, Furong Cave, along with the Three Natural Bridges and Houpingqingkou Tiankeng Scenic Area, was inscribed on the World Heritage List, becoming China's sixth World Heritage site and Chongqing's first. It also marks the first cave in China to be inscribed on the World Heritage List.

Gongtan Ancient Town, nestled at the confluence of the Wujiang River and the Apeng River, boasts a history of over 1,700 years. A three-mile-long stone-paved street connects the town's historic buildings. The Ran Family Courtyard, once the residence of Qing Dynasty chieftain Ran Shenzhi, is a must-see. It houses some of the town's best-preserved woodcut window grilles and other cultural relics.
The town maintains a relaxed and rustic atmosphere, free from commercial activity. Riverside boat tours offer a breathtaking view of the Wujiang River's dramatic landscapes, offering a truly captivating experience.

The Puhua Underground River is located in Qianjiang District, Chongqing, at the lower end of the Zhuoshui Interchange, part of the Chongqing-Hunan Reconciliation Project. It passes through Zhuoshui Ancient Town and winds its way upstream along the Puhua River for approximately 3 kilometers. The underground river stretches over 1 kilometer, making it a key point in the Apeng River tourism chain. The crisscrossing underground rivers offer a unique experience on a boat trip.
