11:00
Arriving near Jiaxing Zicheng Ruins Park, someone says that to understand Zicheng is to understand Jiaxing. We disembarked, stretched our legs, and carefully felt the fragments of time from a thousand years ago. This place, dating back to the Three Kingdoms period, is the origin of Hexing and the central axis of Jiaxing City. Walking through the corridors of the ancient government office, we felt the passage of time and the passing of dynasties. Here, art, nature, and humanity intertwine. Meanwhile, the bustling Zicheng Fair, filled with the fragrance of fireworks, evokes a leisurely fusion of the past and the present.
Cross the street and you will see the third largest church in the Far East - the Church of the Apparition of Our Lady. This is a rare large-scale Gothic building in East China, and it collides and blends with the Chinese and foreign art of the inner city. Everyone can sit on the lawn and manage their expressions well, as this holy land of film-making is full of buffs!
Meet at the appropriate time and stroll along Shaonan Road, stopping at various cultural attractions along the way, to the Yuehe Historic District. The winding river and narrow alleys crisscross the area, crisscrossed by quaint old houses. Small bridges, flowing water, old shops, snacks, markets... Strolling along the bluestone paving along the banks feels like walking on the veins of history with every step. Stroll through the Yuehe market, sample authentic local delicacies, and visit the Jiaxing Zongzi Museum—you won't want to leave Jiaxing empty-handed!
2:30 PM
Around 2:30 PM, we gathered for Shenxian Lake. This secret mining area, hidden on the outskirts of Haiyan City, boasts a landscape reminiscent of a fjord. Once on the trail, you'd almost feel like you were in the mountains and at sea. The well-maintained trail has almost no climbs and is very child-friendly. We circled the lake, visiting more than a dozen viewing platforms. Everyone strolled along the lakeside and took their own unique photoshoots! (This hike isn't very strenuous, so please be aware if you're not sure!)
5:00 PM
As the sun sets, we gather at the appropriate time and depart for the return journey. (Depending on the weather, the gathering time may be adjusted flexibly according to the sunset. Please refer to the on-site notification of the tour leader for details.)
7:30 PM
Returning to the starting point in Shanghai, the day’s check-in journey ended, and everyone was reluctant to leave and kissed goodbye with tears in their eyes!
