Day 1 Chengdu full day meeting day

The first day was a full-day gathering day, and each family member went to Chengdu, Sichuan on their own. China-TravelNote specially arranged pick-up services at the station and airport.
Check in at the hotel's front desk by entering "China - Travel Note + Name." We recommend arriving early to explore Chengdu and experience the slow pace of life while savoring the various local delicacies and attractions.
High-speed rail pick-up: You will be picked up at Chengdu East Railway Station from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM on the same day. We recommend arriving in Chengdu within this timeframe.
Airport: You will be picked up at Chengdu Shuangliu Airport from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on the same day. We recommend arriving in Chengdu within this timeframe.
Note: As Chengdu Tianfu Airport is far from the city center, airport pick-up service is not currently included. You can take the subway directly to the city center or the airport high-speed rail directly to Chengdu East Station. We will provide a detailed subway guide. If you need to arrange for someone to pick you up with a sign, please make a note when placing an order. We will provide you with additional value-added services at an additional cost.
Day 2 Chengdu → Leshan Giant Buddha → Leshan Food → Foot of Mount Emei

After breakfast, we will gather and depart for the Leshan Giant Buddha, an amazing project that makes one marvel at the saying, "The Buddha is a mountain, and the mountain is a Buddha."

At noon, head to Leshan's 2-kilometer food circuit for a delicious culinary experience, perfect for any tourist! Leshan is known for its delicious cuisine, featuring Bobo Chicken, egg cakes, beef and tofu pudding, pancakes, spicy hot pot, pickled pepper rabbit, boiled fish, and the nearby specialty, braised beef with legs raised, and tofu banquets. Choose from a wide selection to suit your taste.

Arrive at the hot spring hotel at the foot of Mount Emei in the evening and soak in the comfortable hot springs in winter to wash away the fatigue of the journey.
Day 3: Foot of Mount Emei → Mount Emei Scenic Area (Leidongping, Golden Summit, free wishing lock) → Chengdu

After breakfast, we headed to Mount Emei Scenic Area, took the scenic area bus to Leidongping, hiked to the Jieying Hall, and took the cable car straight up to the Golden Summit of Mount Emei, where we worshipped Samantabhadra Bodhisattva on all four sides and prayed for peace.

See the magnificent Golden Temple, the gleaming Silver Temple, and the culturally rich Bronze Temple. Day 4 Chengdu → Giant Panda Base → Dujiangyan Irrigation Project → Sichuan Style → Chengdu

After breakfast, we will head to the Chengdu Giant Panda Base to see the adorable giant pandas.

After lunch, we'll travel to Dujiangyan Irrigation System to truly experience the science and wisdom of ancient Chinese craftsmen. As the saying goes, "Worship the waters of Dujiangyan, and seek the truth at Mount Qingcheng." Dujiangyan, known for its damless water diversion, has remained prosperous for over 2,000 years, ushering in a new era in ancient Chinese water conservancy. Here, you'll gain a more intuitive understanding of the relationship between man and nature, hear about 2,300 years of water management history, and truly appreciate the wisdom of the ancients.

After dinner, we went to the [Shufeng Yayun Sichuan Opera Performance Theater] to watch a performance.
Opening gongs and drums: Noisy stage
The main instruments of the "naotai" performance are Sichuan opera gongs and drums. The performance is characterized by its distinct Sichuan flavor and rich charm. The music is boisterous and infectious, creating a lively and festive atmosphere. In the past, it was a way to attract audiences and liven up the atmosphere before the main performance.
Sichuan Opera excerpts
Sichuan Opera is a rare genre that blends Kunqu, Gaoqiang, Peking opera, and Luantan with local folk operas known as lantern operas. Its exquisite technique and humorous language make it a highly valuable literary form. Excerpts are a highlight of a dramatic work, with classics such as "The Legend of the Condor Heroes" and "The Dream of Shi Huaiyu."
Traditional acrobatics
Acrobatics is an ancient Chinese performing art and one of China's precious cultural heritages. Over its long history, it has incorporated modern acrobatic techniques, showcasing the enduring charm of traditional art through its vivid and thrilling performances.
Huqin Solo
The huqin, originally a plucked string instrument of ethnic minorities, later spread to the Central Plains. Through refinement and innovation, it has become a renowned bowed string instrument in my country, encompassing the erhu, gaohu, banhu, and jinghu. It can express profound and sorrowful sentiments as well as depict magnificent artistic conception.
Shadow play
Hand shadow puppetry, an ancient and beautiful Eastern opera art form with a history of over a thousand years in China, is a small tribute to the hands. It is a folk art form that uses fluorescent lights and light to project moving hand shapes onto a wall or curtain. The constantly shifting hand shapes create a dynamic and vivid image.
Folk stunt: rod puppet
Puppetry, also known as puppet show, originated in the Han Dynasty and was used for ancestor worship and deities. Its solemn and dignified style was recognized during the Song Dynasty. It spread among the people from the Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties, becoming a popular acrobatic performance. Rod puppetry, a unique folk art in which human figures perform on stage, boasts a long history, intricate forms, and complex and varied techniques, making its manipulation extremely challenging.
Rolling Light
The rolling lantern is a classic Sichuan Opera clown act and a renowned specialty. Its humorous and eclectic language tells the story of the scholar Pi Jin, who is obsessed with gambling. His wife, angry at his lack of ambition, trains him in the rolling lantern technique, which drives the plot forward and creates hilarious moments.
Sichuan Opera performance of "Face Changing and Fire Breathing"
Face-changing and fire-breathing are among the mystical techniques of Sichuan Opera, originating in ancient Western Shu and renowned throughout China. The face-changer's magical technique, instantly changing facial makeup, combined with the uncanny ability of fire-breathing, unleashes the dramatic shifts and internal tensions of the characters and the plot, creating a powerful and romantic portrayal of character.
Day 5 Chengdu → Huanglong Jiuzhaigou Station → Huanglong Scenic Area → Jiuzhaigou Entrance

After breakfast, depart for Huanglong Jiuzhaigou Station by high-speed rail.

We'll then depart for Huanglong Scenic Area. Known as the "Fairyland on Earth," the ravines are home to numerous colorful pools that transform into vibrant colors depending on the surrounding scenery and the angle of sunlight. The area is renowned for its "four unique wonders": colorful pools, snow-capped mountains, canyons, and forests. Its main attraction is the magnificent, ingeniously constructed, and vibrantly colored travertine formations. Its rare karst landforms are renowned both domestically and internationally, making it a veritable paradise on earth.

Day 6 Jiuzhaigou Entrance → Jiuzhaigou In-depth Tour → Jiuzhaigou Entrance

After breakfast, we'll explore the fairy-tale world of Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. Upon entering the scenic area, we'll transfer to a sightseeing bus. Jiuzhaigou's main gully is a "Y"-shaped, three-way ravine, stretching over 50 kilometers in total. After dropping off our luggage at the Tibetan village, we'll officially begin our exploration of Jiuzhaigou.
The Five-Colored Pool is the quintessential lake in Jiuzhaigou. Home to diverse aquatic plant communities, the calcium carbonate-rich waters create a vibrant palette of colors. Within the same lake, some waters are azure blue, others pale green, others crimson yellow, and even some springs pale blue—the variety is endless.
Changhai Lake has no outlets around it, its water source being melted from the mountains. Miraculously, Changhai Lake never dries up, and even if its banks overflow, Tibetans call it a treasured gourd that "never fills up, never leaks dry."
There are two ways to visit [Rize Valley]:
Light Hiking: First take the scenic shuttle bus to Wuhua Lake, then walk from high to low altitude to Jinling Lake and Pearl Beach, enjoying the scenery along the way, until you reach the center of Nuorilang. (3.5 km hiking distance, about 3 hours)
Jingjiao Bus: Take the Jingjiao Bus stop at the station and arrive at the center of Nuorilang.
Overnight at Jiuzhaigou Entrance Hotel
Day 7 Jiuzhaigou Entrance → Huanglong Jiuzhaigou Station → Disband in Chengdu

After breakfast, bid farewell to Jiuzhaigou and return to Chengdu East Station by high-speed rail.

Arrives at Chengdu East Station at approximately 14:30. It is recommended to book a flight after 16:00.
Transfer to the subway or high-speed rail to Chengdu Shuangliu Airport. You will arrive at approximately 15:30 (at the security checkpoint). It is recommended to book a flight after 17:30.
