Day 1 Across the country → → Xining

[Itinerary Overview]:
Today, teammates from all over the country will gather in Xining and check into a hotel arranged by our club. The leisurely lifestyle of this ancient summer capital will surely give you a deep understanding of what it means to be a "Pearl of the Plateau." If you have more time, we recommend arriving early to stroll around and experience the slow pace of Xining's life, enjoying the various snacks and attractions. You can also arrange your own sightseeing in downtown Xining. Recommended destinations include Ta'er Temple, Xining Panda House, Qilin Bay, and Nanshan Park. Recommended dishes include hand-pulled lamb, kang kang lamb chops, and beef jerky.
We will have a welcome dinner in the evening, and after the dinner we will have a pre-departure meeting, so please be sure to attend.
Day 2 Xining → Colorful Waterfall → Gangshika Snow Peak Base Camp 4300M

The hike is about 3.5 km and takes about 2-3 hours.
【Itinerary Details】
After breakfast, we will depart from Xining at 9:00 to the Colorful Ice Waterfall. We will have lunch and buy road food and supplies at Qingshizui in Menyuan County.
After visiting the Colorful Waterfall, we started hiking to the Gangshika Snow Peak Mountaineering Base Camp (the whole hike is 3.5 kilometers, with an ascent of about 600 meters). After arriving at the base camp, we took a short rest. The guide began to teach us the technical equipment used in climbing (safety belts, crampon adjustment, ice axe braking, and how to deal with various emergency situations) and arranged dinner and beds at the base camp.
Day 3: Gangshika Snow Mountain Base Camp → Summit 5005m → → Xining

【Itinerary Details】
The Gangshika Three Peaks climb begins at 3:00 AM and departs from Base Camp at 4:00 AM. The closing time is 6 hours in winter and 5 hours in summer. Winter weather is stable, but guides may extend the closing time based on the distance to the summit and risk assessment. Summer afternoons are prone to thunderstorms, rain, and snow, so the time limit will be strictly controlled to ensure a safe return to Base Camp. After successfully reaching the summit, take photos and check in, then return to Base Camp. We then descend the mountain to the Colorful Waterfall and travel back to Xining.
