Meet at Guangzhou East Station and take the high-speed rail or bullet train to Fuzhou, refer to the train schedule (D3309 Guangzhou East - Fuzhou South, or G3044 Guangzhou East - Fuzhou South). High-speed trains wait for no one, so be sure to arrive early. (If you can't get a direct ticket, consider a transfer via Guangzhou South - Shenzhen North - Fuzhou. Shenzhen North trains head to Fujian more frequently, so please understand.)

Arrive at Fuzhou South Station and transfer to the bus to Pingtan Island, which is approximately an hour and a half away. If you would like to meet at Fuzhou South Station on your own, please indicate this when registering, and customer service will deduct the corresponding high-speed rail fare.
3:30 PM
Arrive at Pingtan Island Hotel, check in, unpack, and rest for a while. Then take a bus to Houyan Island.
4:00 PM
The closest point to Taiwan Island, mainland China, is just 68 nautical miles away. Across the Taiwan Strait lies the beautiful island of Taiwan. At this moment, does Yu Guangzhong's homesickness come to mind? Houyan Island doesn't require a boat ride; it's accessible by foot via a bridge.

Get up early to have breakfast, pack your luggage, check out, and take a bus to Beigang Village.

Explore Beigang Stone Village and search for singing stones.

We all went to get our electric scooters and began cycling around the island. The route from Beigang Village to the Changjiangao Windmill Farm is Pingtan Island's most beautiful. On one side are the neatly arranged stone houses, on the other the ocean. Listening to the sounds of this ordinary road, I felt a sense of exhilaration. We stopped along the way to take photos, then cycled to the Changjiangao Windmill Farm to admire the stunning scenery. We could also go down to the beach and run in the waves.
Special reminder: If you don’t know how to ride a bike, you can choose to take the sightseeing bus operating on the coastal highway. The electric bike fee that you have not experienced will be refunded after the event ends.

Return to Beigang Village and have free lunch.

Get on the train back to Fuzhou South Station and take the high-speed rail back to Guangzhou.
