Day 1 Shanghai → Toumen Port → Campsite
07:15
Good morning, beauty of the morning: 07:15 -07:30
It was a beautiful morning. We gathered at the designated location of China-TravelNote and signed in. We set off at 07:30 on time. We interacted with each other and introduced the itinerary on the bus, and laughed and talked all the way.
After gathering, we got on the bus and headed to our destination with laughter and joy!
12:30
[Hey, Toumen's World: 12:30 - 17:00]
We crossed the Toumen Port Bridge , enjoying the scenery of the East China Sea along the way. Soon, we arrived at Toumen Island, famous for its island scenery, including scenic spots such as Wushatou, Shitan Island, and Jilong Mountain. The beach is rich in shell resources, earning it the nickname "an endless shell warehouse"! (Lunch will be served at the service area.)
Arriving at the starting point around 1:30 PM, we prepared our camping gear for the night (we'll need to stock up on water for two days, which we recommend at the service area). We're about to enter the world of Toumen! Let's hike, accompanied by the sea breeze and the crashing waves! Toumen Island offers not only expansive views but also the vibrant jungle experience. This route, half mountain and half sea, embraces both mountain and sea, offering jagged rocks, winding ridges, lush vegetation, gurgling streams, clear pools, and a staggered arrangement of small wooden gates and fences. From time to time, we'll encounter carefree little animals. Each scene is perfectly interwoven, creating a natural poem.
Around 4:30 PM, we arrived at our campsite (we'll be split into two campsites due to the large group size). As the last rays of sunlight sank below the horizon, the sky shifted from bright daylight to deep night, like a cascading painting. Night officially fell, bringing a sense of tranquility and mystery. We found a suitable spot, set up camp, and packed our belongings. A professional guide would teach or assist everyone in setting up their tents. Dinner was ready, and the outdoor kitchen began.
Around 9:00 PM, under a starry sky, we'll play games and chat about interesting things... You can also bring your own cards! Let's have a full game of Werewolf and other games.
Day 2 Campsite → Toumen Port → Shanghai
07:00
【Good morning, beauty of the morning!】
Early risers can enjoy the sun rising from the sea and have a hearty breakfast.
09:30
【Sea breeze blows gently】
Under the leadership of our team leader, we cleaned up the trash around us, packed up the tent, and followed the LNT rule of every outdoor person: leave no trace in the mountains! Let's start with me~ We took the trash down the mountain.
We set off to start today's hiking trip. Along the way, we will see the lighthouse! In addition, we can also see free-range cattle and sheep, which are either basking in the sun on the hillside or strolling slowly, enjoying the pleasant weather on the island.
When we are tired, we can stop and listen to the sound of the waves!
Around 12:00 PM, we finished our hike and reflected on the past two days. The streams, the diverse forests, the sea of clouds, the reefs, the free-spirited pony family, and the lonely lighthouse at the end of the island all made up this island hike! At the end, we also planned a celebratory dinner! A reward for the two days!
13:00
【Return trip, Shanghai】
The bus had been waiting at the foot of the mountain for a long time. After packing up, I boarded the bus and headed back to Shanghai. On the way home, I slowly recalled every detail of the journey.
The people we met, the scenery we saw, and the stories we experienced have all become our precious memories, replaying one by one in our hearts as the bus travels.
On the way back, we will stop at a service area for everyone to replenish supplies, use the toilet, and relieve fatigue caused by the journey.
Around 18:00, we returned to Shanghai. Everyone was reluctant to leave and kissed goodbye with tears in their eyes.
