Day 2 Sanyang → Zhangshan Grand Canyon → Penglai Fairy Cave → Qimen

After breakfast, go to [Yuyang Valley of Zhangshan Grand Canyon] to play in the river
Note: China-TravelNote will provide life jackets and scoops. Tourists who do not want to play in the water can also explore the scenic area on the nearby trails.

We arrived at the [Zhangshan Grand Canyon] and started to play in the cool water in summer. As we went deeper into the canyon, the roar of the waterfall and the sound of flowing water reached our ears. The mountain spring water circled along the winding stream beach. In the clear stream, we could see the goose-warm stone riverbed and swimming grouper. As we went up the mountain, the color of the water gradually became darker, like a glass-colored stream that made us linger. It can be said to be the ceiling of jelly water in southern Anhui.
Passing through Tianzi Lake and Yuyang Valley, there are many water routes and pavilions on the road. The canyon is covered with shade trees, which is very cool in summer.

After arriving at Tianmen Zhongkai and Baizhangyan, take the scenic shuttle bus back to the starting point to change clothes in the restroom (you need to carry clean clothes with you when changing clothes in the restroom)

The entire fairy cave has more than 10 scenic spots, including the reception hall, the sea exploration corridor, the East China Sea Dragon Palace, the Tongming Palace, the Mixian Palace, the Yuchan Palace, the Milky Way Corridor, the Yaochi, the South China Sea, the Chaoyin Hall, the Farewell Parlor, etc., which are wonderful.
The fairy cave is full of stalactites, which are gorgeous and colorful; the fairy cave scenery is magical and mysterious.
The huge rocks of various shapes look like objects or people, and are very lifelike. The "Golden Bell" over 9 meters high is magnificent.
There is an underground river gurgling in the cave, with surging water. The sky cave is grand and beautiful, with twists and turns, deep and strange scenery.
Even in summer, it is still quite cold inside the cave. Please bring a coat to prevent catching a cold.

We spent about 2.5 hours in Penglai Fairy Cave, and then went to the B&B next to the scenic area for dinner. You can pay for the meal as a group or on your own.

We headed to the last primeval forest in East China - [Anhui Shitai Guniujiang Scenic Area]
The clouds in the scenic area are ever-changing, the green mountains are leaning against the green water, the strange mountains, rocks, dense forests, and waterfalls are all elegant in fantasy and tranquil in beauty.
The main attractions in the scenic area include Yanjia Ancient Village, Lover's Valley, Four-fold Waterfall, Longmen Pond, Longmen Canyon, Hidden Moon Pool, and Heaven-made Maze.
[Yanjia Ancient Village] has well-preserved typical Huizhou residential ancient buildings;
Lover's Valley is surrounded by mountains on three sides, with steep cliffs, lush forests and bamboos, and gurgling springs. It is a great place for couples.
[Four-fold waterfall] is like a huge white silk hanging on the cliff. The canyon is deep, with strange rocks everywhere and ancient trees covering the area.
[Longmen Lake] The water of Longmen Lake is turquoise, the canyon is deep, there are strange rocks everywhere, and ancient trees are like a canopy. The water quality is as clear and beautiful as Jiuzhaigou!

On the way back, we have time to reminisce about every detail of our journey.
The people we met, the scenery we saw, and the stories we experienced have all become our precious memories, replaying one by one in our minds as the bus travels.
On the way back, we will stop at a service area for everyone to replenish supplies, use the toilet, and relieve fatigue from the journey.

Returning to Shanghai, we ended our summer vacation trip to southern Anhui. We kissed goodbye with tears and made plans for the next one!
