Arrive at Zhaojia Town at 9:30 AM
and walk through a Torreya grandis forest. The exposed roots of the Torreya grandis trees resemble dragons and snakes
as you journey through dense, millennia-old Torreya grandis forests. The tree
trunks are mottled with moss, and you might even encounter a squirrel or thrush. The popular cliff is a great photo spot, but beware of the steep descent. A wooden trestle crosses the stream. A cherry supply station is located at the finish line, and a finisher medal will be engraved with a Torreya grandis tree totem
. At the end of the event, we recommend visiting the 1,380-year-old "King of Torreya Grandis" or experiencing the Zhaojia Town Farmhouse Inn (specialty meals include Torreya grandis tofu and cherry jam).
