Note: The farm provides porter service at 15 yuan per pound (round trip, slightly adjusted during holidays, the price is based on the day).
The rental tent is on the top of the mountain, and sleeping bags are provided, so you don't need to carry them, so you can travel light.

4:00 PM

Today's mileage is about 6KM, the altitude climb is about 1000 meters, and it takes 4-5 hours (including rest).

Along the way, you will pass through bamboo forests, streams, and primitive shrubs, and you can also see a large number of rare plants.

Arriving at the challenging section of "Haohanpo", tourists helped each other to climb, and the moment they reached the top, the view suddenly opened up - thousands of acres of alpine meadows came into view !

4:30 PM

Arrive at the camp , unload your backpack, and head to the summit of Qiyun Mountain (2061 meters) to check in at the sunset and sea of clouds, and take as many photos as you want.

Set up camp and build tents 🏕️, the team leader will give simple instructions on how to set up tents

If you need to live in a single tent, please check two options.

6:00 PM

The sunset returns to the mountains and seas, which hold profound meanings.

Qiyun Mountain has stunning scenery, but few people visit it.

Everyone started preparing dinner

The sunset is right beside you, and the sun is beginning to set.

At this moment, all the hard work along the way has long been forgotten, and all that remains is the beauty that nature brings you! ! !

As time goes by,

The light illuminates everyone's face, warm and friendly.

There was silence all around, with only the occasional chirping of insects and the sound of breeze rustling the leaves.

We held our breath and seemed to hear the ticking of time in our ears🌌.

On this quiet night, our heartbeats are synchronized with the pulse of the universe, admiring the gorgeous starry sky✨.

Driving time: Ganzhou to Guanggu Mountain 2.5 hours

Hiking: About 6km of hiking, with a gentle slope climb of 1000m

Notes: Regarding supplies:
Water and instant noodles are available for sale near the starting point, Guanggushan Farm, and the temple on the top of the mountain .
Regarding camping:
1. There is a temple 200 meters below the top of Qiyun Mountain, surrounded by a wide lawn. This spot has signal reception and is close to a water source. You can see the sunset, sunrise, and sea of clouds just by opening your tent. However, this spot is also very popular, so availability may be limited and the wind can be strong.
2. There is a sunken lawn next to the Qiyun Mountain Temple. Signal reception is poor, and it is a moderate distance from the water source (300 meters)
. 3. Signal reception is poor at the top of the mountain, the wind is strong, and it is too far from the water source (you need to descend to the temple to get water). You can see the sunrise and sea of clouds just by opening your tent.
4. There is a garbage station 400 meters below the top of Qiyun Mountain. The area around here is flat, but camping is strictly prohibited. Cattle gather here, and many come to feed at night.
5. There is a large lawn 1 km from the top of Qiyun Mountain. It is quiet and free of cattle at night, and the wind is not as strong as near the top. The downside is that there is no water source
. Note: Therefore, tour leaders will find the best camping site based on the weather.

Day 3 Qiyun Mountain → Ganzhou West Railway Station → Shanghai

04:00

Sunrise over the sea of clouds: Waiting for the morning spectacle

As the night slowly fades away, the world is immersed in tranquility.

The stars gradually disappeared, and the sky changed from dark blue to light gray, heralding the arrival of a new day.

Hike for 15 minutes to the Qiyun Mountain Stele and take a 360° panoramic photo overlooking the vast mountains at the junction of Hunan, Jiangxi and Guangdong provinces.

We stood on the top of Qiyun Mountain, breathing the first breath of air in the morning, feeling the peace and tranquility of nature.

The sunrise and sea of clouds at the top of Qiyun Mountain are truly breathtaking. Everyone took some beautiful photos at the top and prepared to slowly descend the mountain. The road down is quite slow.

08:00

We ate some breakfast and started to move out of camp.

Then clean up the trash around you and tidy up the tent (very important~)

Fulfill the LNT rule for every outdoor person.

No trace camping, no trace in the mountains!!

We took the garbage down the mountain

We broke camp and started to go down the mountain. The whole way was a gentle downhill walk. The scenery was outstanding, with meadows and sea of clouds all along the way.

13:00

Go down the mountain for about 7 km, passing by granite wonders such as "The Immortal Pointing the Way" and "The Divine Turtle Looking at the Sea"

Everyone arrived at the farmhouse at the foot of the mountain one after another.

The bus has been waiting at the foot of the mountain for a long time. You can get on the bus after the AA group meal at the farmhouse at the foot of the mountain and start your journey back to Shanghai.

On the way back, we have time to reminisce about every detail of our journey.

The people we met, the scenery we saw, and the stories we experienced have all become our precious memories, replaying one by one in our minds as the bus travels.

On the way back, we will stop at a service area for everyone to replenish supplies, use the toilet, and relieve fatigue from the journey.

4:00 PM

Let’s go to Ganzhou West Station first to end our heavy-loading journey, kiss goodbye with tears, and make an appointment for the next one!

Note: Ganzhou has excellent geographical conditions and is very close to famous cities in three provinces: Guangzhou, Changsha, and Xiamen. The high-speed rail journey takes about 3 to 5 hours.

Driving time: 2.5 hours from the foot of Qiyun Mountain to Ganzhou West Station

Hiking: about 7 km downhill

Q: Can we still go if it rains?
A: In the event of light rain, activities will continue as normal, and you can still experience the unique wonderland of clouds and mist. However, in the event of severe weather such as heavy rain or thunderstorms, activities will be cancelled. Safety
is our top priority! Q: Is it cold camping? How is hygiene guaranteed?
A: The campground provides windproof tents and moisture-proof mats for rental, which can be paired with suitable sleeping bags for warmth. The mountaintop toilets are all dug in cat holes, so we recommend bringing your own mouthwash and wipes for cleaning.
Q: Can we watch the sunset?
A: If the weather is fine and there is ample time, the tour leader will take you to the sunset viewing point (optional).

Qiyun Mountain in Ganzhou:

At 2,061.3 meters above sea level, it is the main peak of the Zhuguang Mountain Range and the highest peak in southern Jiangxi! Standing proudly at the junction of Chongyi, Ganzhou, and Guidong, Chenzhou, the summit boasts not only vast meadows but also the remains of the Qiyun Mountain Temple.

The overall shape is a cliff, and the vertical cliff of more than 1,000 meters creates a cliff that is as high as the clouds, so it is called Qiyun Mountain.

There are more than 200 days of cloudy weather in a year, often forming a spectacular sea of clouds!

It may not be as famous as Wugong Mountain, but it has the scenery of Wugong Mountain; bamboo forests, streams, strange rocks, meadows, starry sky, sea of clouds, sunrise and sunset, you can experience them all in just two days.

Three must-see wonders:

1. When the sky clears up after the rain, the whole mountain floats above the sea of clouds, and the reflection of sunlight forms a rare "Buddha's light" wonder, as if you are in heaven.

2. Golden Meadows: In autumn, thousands of acres of alpine meadows shed their verdant green to transform into a wavy golden ocean. In the morning light, dewdrops on the grass tips refract like diamonds, earning them the nickname "Hulunbuir of Jiangnan" by hikers.

3. Pure Sunrise "The moment the crimson sun pierces the clouds—" ▫ The sky first glows with a pink and purple glow ▫ The sun peeks out slowly like a shy girl ▫ Finally, thousands of golden rays of light cast across the rolling mountains (Best viewing spot: The boulder platform on the main peak)
