Day 1 Xi'an → Manchuan Ancient Town → Yunxi

Upon entering Manchuan Ancient Town, the bluestone pavement, brimming with the charm of the Ming and Qing dynasties, cascades beneath your feet. Flanked by gabled walls with pointed corners and eaves, the wooden signs of old shops gleam with age, a sense of history permeating the streets. Your guide will guide you along the stone pavement, detailing the bustling history of the former water and land ports, the stories of century-old businesses, and even the fascinating folk customs hidden beneath the cracks in the walls. When you're tired of exploring, try some of the town's local snacks, including the warm Manchuan Eight Great Items and crispy gold coin cakes—authentic local favorites. After enjoying your meals and exploring, we'll pack up after lunch and head towards Xuangu Mountain in Yunxi. (You'll need to have lunch on your own, so lunch and sightseeing allowance total 2.5 hours.)

After touring the ancient town and enjoying lunch, we'll immediately depart for Xuangu Mountain in Yunxi. This mountain boasts not only stunning mountain scenery but also a serene Taoist atmosphere. Here, you'll experience the tranquility of Taoist culture and the ethereal spirit of the mountains.

Upon arriving at Xuangu Mountain in Yunxi, the solemn atmosphere of this Taoist site is immediately apparent. We'll visit the ancient Taoist temple and listen to our guide explain its Taoist history and cultural connotations, immersing ourselves in the pure and peaceful spirit of Taoism. (This section involves a roughly 6km hike.)

There is also the Young Zhang Sanfeng Dojo behind (about 2km away). You can choose to visit it and then go to the hotel by yourself after the visit, as the hotel is very close to here.

5:00 PM

We'll then check in at the hotel. In the evening, you'll be free to explore Yunxi City. We recommend starting with a stroll through Old North Street to soak up the vibrant life there. As night falls, stop by Tianhe Square to admire the dazzling neon lights of Rainbow Bridge and fully experience the vibrant nightlife of Yunxi.

Day 2 Yunxi → Wulong River → Xi'an

After getting up early in the morning, we enjoyed breakfast at the hotel (it is recommended that you get up early and pack your luggage, because the hiking distance of Wulong River today is about 10km, and you can choose to walk only a part of it and not cross it on the same day). Then everyone gathered together and set off for the important stop of this trip - Wulong River, to start today's exploration of the beautiful mountains and rivers.

After everyone gathered, they immediately set off for Wulong River to fulfill an appointment with the natural scenery.

Arrive at Wulong River Scenic Area, which is also the largest scenic area in Yunxi and a national AAAA-level tourist area.

Located in Yunxi, Hubei, it is famous for its natural landscapes such as canyons, waterfalls, virgin forests, Taoist culture, and ancient human sites (such as the 800,000-year-old "Yunxi Man" fossils). It is known as the "Jiuzhaigou of Northwest Hubei" and a "Natural Oxygen Bar."

We'll explore the five core canyons of Tianle Valley, Feilong Valley, Zhinu Valley, Fengshen Valley, and Wangyou Valley in order. While passing through Feilong Valley, we'll experience a glass plank walkway. With the lush valley floor beneath us and the cascading mountains beside us, you'll be able to overlook the winding stream and experience the thrill of aerial vistas, creating stunning photos that blend seamlessly with the natural beauty. The entire scenic area is a picturesque blend of peaks and peaks, where evergreen vegetation blends beautifully with the breathtaking scenery. Over 60 scenic spots, including the Five Dragon Gate, stone pillars, lakes, streams, peaks, waterfalls, and ancient temples and monasteries, are scattered throughout the area, offering a chance to enjoy the scenery and take photos, immersing ourselves in the wonders of nature. After lunch, we'll depart for Xi'an by bus. Along the way, we'll share our journey, sharing our experiences and learnings. We'll arrive in Xi'an in the evening (normally around 8:00 PM), marking the perfect end to this fulfilling trip to Yunxi.

Arriving in Xi'an, our trip for the day concludes here. The road ahead is long, but we'll surely meet again if fate allows. I look forward to seeing you all again next time.
