10:30

After arriving at the destination, the team leader led everyone to warm up before climbing.

After warming up, we quickly got into the groove and began our fast-paced journey. The mountain path was dominated by dirt roads and stone steps through the forest. The lush trees blocked out the sun, and the air was filled with the fresh scent of earth and plants.

Once you reach the ridge, the view opens up. This is the "Eagle's wings." You'll walk along a winding, undulating ridge path, with dense forests on one side and a panoramic view of Shang Lake on the other. The water and sky merge into one, creating a magnificent spectacle.

Passing Jianmen Rocks and Canghai Temple, you can pause for a moment to experience the rich history and the wonders of nature. The ridgeline is the highlight of the entire journey, with a refreshing breeze and a refreshing feeling, making all the hard work feel worthwhile.

After a mid-session break, the route will lead you up again, perhaps to another steeper section of stone stairs or a dirt slope. This is a test of willpower; perseverance is victory!

Hiking: Hiking distance: about 18km. Climbing: about 1200m, time about 6 hours

Note: 90% of the hike is shaded, and there are many side trails. Please follow the China-TravelNote signposts or stay close to your tour leader. The popular rock is located at 10 km, and you can descend. The closing time may be slightly adjusted in autumn and winter, and the details will be announced by your tour leader in the car on the day. It gets dark earlier in autumn and winter, so it's recommended to bring a headlamp. Bring a set of clean clothes to change into after the hike to avoid getting cold in wet clothes.

Nestled against the backdrop of a historic city, Yushan National Forest Park is closely connected to a number of illustrious historical figures and boasts a rich cultural heritage. On the eastern ridge of Yushan lies the tomb of Zhongyong, the descendant of the Shang and Zhou dynasties, and the tomb of Yanzi, a scholar of the Southern Dynasties. On the western ridge, the tomb of Wuxian, a Shang minister, the Spring and Autumn period stone chamber, and the Longmen cliff carvings are found. Xingfu Zen Temple, an ancient temple from the Qi and Liang dynasties, nestles in a secluded valley at the northern foot of the mountain. Its three masterpieces, Tang poetry, Song calligraphy, and the Qing Dynasty stone stele inscribed by Chang Jian, "Inscription on the Zen Courtyard Behind the Poshan Temple," have been immortalized. Yushan also houses the tombs and cultural relics of Huang Gongwang, a great Yuan Dynasty painter; Qu Shisi, a national hero; Weng Tonghe, the imperial tutor of two Qing dynasties; and Wang Ganchang, a pioneer in the development of nuclear weapons and atomic and atomic bombs. Changshu's rich cultural heritage is fully reflected here.
