Megaro Meteoron Monastery

I went to Megalo Meteoron Monastery, the most famous of the monasteries in Meteora.
It takes about 1.5 hours to walk from the center of Kalambaka town.
You enter the monastery by climbing the steep slope of the monastery cliff.
Compared to other monasteries, the condition of the paintings inside and the building are beautiful and large.
There is also a viewpoint inside the monastery, and the view from there is beautiful.
If you have to go to just one monastery in Meteora, this is the one to go to.

The entrance fee is 3 euros.
Check in advance as the closing days and opening hours vary depending on the season.
