Surreal Experience | Banyan Tree AlUla in Saudi Arabia

The buggy car of the Banyan Tree AlUla hotel drove away from the lobby towards my room. The 47 tents are scattered in a long and narrow valley. The rock walls on both sides have experienced the vicissitudes of time, and their appearance is undoubtedly very shocking. What shocked me even more was the area occupied by the hotel, which was so vast. The momentum of occupying an entire canyon was something I could not appreciate from my previous research.

My pool suite has finally arrived. The moment I pushed open the door, the shock was upgraded once again. The world outside the window, the wilderness that has been sleeping for thousands of years, is actually your private scenery. I must admit that the journey to AlUla was quite arduous, but at this moment, it was worth it!

No matter how many global hotel experiences you have, the Banyan Tree AlUla in Saudi Arabia is a groundbreaking breakthrough, because the destination where the hotel is located is an unrepeatable and unique legend. AlUla is located in the northwest corner of Saudi Arabia. It is gradually unveiling its mysterious veil in China because of the World Heritage Site Hegra and the same style as the TV show "Divas Hit the Road".

The rooms are simple yet full of details, and each floor-to-ceiling window frames a flowing desert painting: the morning light plates the sand grains with gold leaf, and the twilight dyes the rock walls into red copper. The night wind blows through the folds of the tent, like the murmur of nomads.

The swimming pool is inlaid in the towering rocks, as if it were a natural pool formed after rain. Soaking in the water under the morning light or starry sky, the feeling of harmony between man and nature is very strong.

Saffron is the signature restaurant of Banyan Tree, showcasing the classic flavors of Thai cuisine. After traveling in Arab countries for nearly half a month, I was somewhat tired of the local food. An authentic Thai meal under the moonlight was truly delightful. All the waiters in the restaurant are from Thailand or Southeast Asia, and you know the feeling of being in a spring breeze.
