The Central State Museum is the best museum in Almaty. Exhibits range from Bronze Age funeral items to modern telecommunications equipment, as well as a large number of exquisitely crafted handicrafts, and some artifacts from the Tang Dynasty in China.

There is an exhibition that requires an additional 1,000 KZT, which displays ancient gold jewelry excavated from the Scythian tombs from the 6th to 3rd centuries BC.
The Central State Museum has several types of tickets to choose from. You can take photos with your phone, but not with a camera. More than half of the visitors in the museum are Chinese.
