Memorial of Glory, Almaty 🕯️🇰🇿 — one of Kazakhstan’s most powerful WWII memorials, located in the beautiful 28 Panfilov Guardsmen Park. The centerpiece is an enormous bronze monument showing soldiers from all 15 Soviet republics, united in defense. Behind them rises a dramatic stone wall symbolizing the Soviet Motherland’s shield.

Even if you’re not into war history, this place hits hard — solemn music, eternal flame 🔥, and families laying flowers. Surrounded by trees, it’s a peaceful spot for reflection after exploring Almaty’s busy streets.
