Here's a guide to the Zhejiang Museum of Natural History Anji Branch.

Opening hours: Open from 9:30 am to 5 pm, Wednesday to Sunday. Last entry is at 4 pm. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Open on public holidays.

Transportation: The Anji Branch is located at No. 1 Meiyuan Road, Dipu Street, Anji County. Driving is recommended. The underground parking lot is free, but parking may be tight on holidays.

Visit clockwise: Ecology Hall - Dinosaur Hall - Natural Art Hall - Ocean Hall - Bering Hall - Geology Hall.

📍Venue introduction

Dinosaur Hall: There are a large number of restored dinosaur skeleton specimens and fossils. The Tyrannosaurus rex model on the second floor is realistic, and its eyeballs move.

Ocean Hall: The only hall in the museum with living organisms. There are jellyfish tanks, starfish and conch touch pools, etc., where you can get up close and personal with marine life.

Bering Hall: Most of the specimens were donated by Mr. Kenneth Eugene Bering. The scene of the great migration of the African savannah is realistically restored.

Ecology Hall: Restores the famous natural ecological environments of various places and introduces various ecological knowledge in a simple and easy-to-understand way.

Natural Art Hall: There is a spherical theater on the first floor with stunning visual effects. There are also artworks made from natural elements such as shells and butterflies. The second floor introduces gemstones.

Geology Hall: Tells the story of the evolution of the land of Zhejiang and introduces background knowledge such as the structure of the earth, geological ages, biological evolution, continental migration, and climate change. There are many interactive experiences.
